Classic Star Trek Vinyl Figures Wave 1
The Blot doesn’t know much about this upcoming line of Star Trek designer vinyl figures other than they are based on the original Star Trek television series. These 5.5 inch figures are a perfect combination of urban vinyl cool (with their big feet and hands) and the classic Star Trek’s retro futuristic look. Star Trek Wave 1 includes Captain Kirk, Spock and an Orion Slave Girl, one of the most recognizable aliens from Star Trek’s original television series.

Best of all, it comes with bonus material including a musical commentary track! One interesting tidbit is that Amazon is manufacturing the DVD based on demand using DVD-R recordable media. I guess this is a way to cut down on costs and make Dr. Horrible profitable enough to actually manufacture. One upside to this is that there is no regional encoding, meaning it will play on all DVD players worldwide.
