The Blot still can’t figure out how Episode IV Ben Kenobi can be considered a never before seen Mighty Muggs character since he was a part of Wave 2, but I’ll let it slide. I guess it’s partially true since Sir Alec Guinness has never been recreated in Mighty Mugg form.

What has me the most excited about this Wave is the Gamorrean Guard Mighty Mugg. His horns are a new feature on the classic Mighty Muggs platform and should be a great new accessory for customizers to play with. I expect some killer devil Mighty Muggs to hit the web as soon as these Muggs are released.
No official release date is known for this Wave yet. Keep checking back for more details!

bummed that the "never before mugged" characters were only 2 out of 4 with that statement. They should fire their PR copywriter.
I am wondering if the Gam Guard's horns foretell a Daredevil Mugg in the future?
I do like that Luke has a scratched face.
There is a slight chance I'm wrong about this Wave and the Old Obi-Wan and Hoth Luke figures are a part of another Wave, but I doubt it. It would be cool if I was wrong though and 6 new Star Wars Mighty Muggs were being released soon instead of 4.
It just makes sense that this is the Internet Exclusive Wave line-up since Hasbro displayed exactly four new Muggs on their website, one of which was the previously announced Internet Exclusive Biker Scout.
I'm amazed at how quickly they've started to release Star Wars Mighty Muggs into the market. Hopefully they'll start doing the same with their Marvel and G.I. Joe lines.
I wish we were both wrong, but I think you are right (about these Muggs being more likely)
I think they are realizing after testing the waters that:
1. Star Wars is their goldmine.
2. Marvel is more a money maker if they switch gears to (sigh) X-men.
3. Be careful releasing toys that don't have a movie immediately backing them until summer (G.I.Joe and TF2)
What do you think?
I forgot to add that I def agree with you on the Daredevil part!
With the Gam Guard's horns now in production it's only a matter of time until we see the Man Without Fear in Mighty Muggs form.
I 100% agree with you. I think of all the toy lines Star Wars has traditionally proven to have the strongest staying power.
Plus, the biggest draw to the Marvel Universe right now is Wolverine and the X-Men with the cartoon doing gangbuster ratings on Nicktoons and the live action Wolverine movie coming out soon.
The G.I. Joe line I am sure will continue for a while, especially with its live action movie coming up. And Transformers, even if Wave 3 gets put on hold for a few months, is going to continue at some point because of its new movie too.
Its annoying, but nowadays action figures/toys rely almost entirely on its movie/television show/cartoon tie-ins to move product. Either that or manufacturers will have to move them to strictly to the hobby market (or as internet exclusives). But a move like that will mean production numbers going down and prices going up.
