2009 Bonnaroo Poster and Line-Up

You know, The Blot actually thought this year’s Coachella line-up was pretty sick until Bonnaroo unveiled its 2009 line-up last week. This summer’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is already shaping up, at least on paper, to be one of the best music festivals in recent memory. In fact, it completely blows away pretty much every other music festival’s line-up from the past two years. If The Blot didn’t already have a killer summer trip planned (more details on that to come later), I might have to consider busting out my old sleeping bag and heading to Manchester, Tennessee.

Bonnaroo ’09 will include performances by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Phish (who will be performing twice), Beastie Boys, Nine Inch Nails, Wilco, Al Green, Snoop Dogg, Elvis Costello, Erykah Badu, Paul Oakenfold, Ben Harper and Relentless 7, The Mars Volta, TV on the Radio, David Byrne, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and way too many other amazing artists to name. You can find out the music festival’s complete initial line-up by clicking on the official 2009 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival Line-Up poster below:

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations - Food Porn

February 14th (commonly referred to as Valentine’s Day) is this weekend, and in honor of the holiday of love we are being treated to a very special and unique episode of No Reservations. After traveling across the globe for years and sampling some of the world's greatest gastronomic pleasures, Anthony Bourdain has learned first hand about the body's similar chemical and physical responses to food and sex. It’s lucky for us then he is ready to share some of his favorite examples of what he likes to call “food porn.” In tonight’s episode, Tony presents a XXX selection of all that's lip-smacking and luscious in the world of food.

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations on the Travel Channel
Tonight Tony is joined by some of the world's most renowned chefs, such as Eric Ripert, Alan Wong and Martin Picard, as he dines on everything from crispy pork skin tacos and steaming pho, to hot drippy cheese based dishes, serious chocolate and of course, a pig feast. As Tony says, it's “just filthy.” If you can’t tell by the title of tonight’s episode, this is going to be a good one! If you don’t believe me just check out the promo video clip below for the Travel Channel’s No Reservations: Food Porn Special:

But just as in porn, not everything in food is glamorous or appetizing. Be it still-squirming octopus tentacles, the dirty 'business end' of a warthog, codfish sperm, or the bitterly juicy eyeball of a freshly-killed seal, there are some dishes around the world that provide disgust for some, yet immense gratification for others. But whatever it is that tickles your fancy, it can't be denied that food and pleasure go hand-in-hand. Let’s just say this episode is for hardcore viewers only!

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations airs every Monday at 10/9c on the Travel Channel.
