Where The Wild Things Are 100% Kubrick and Be@rbrick Set

Medicom Toy is also releasing a Where The Wild Things Are 100% Kubrick and Be@rbrick set to go along with its Where The Wild Things Are Kubrick series (similar to its Lost releases). This two figure set features a hooded Max with crown and an all black Max/Where The Wild Things Are 100% Be@rbrick.


The Where The Wild Things Are 100% Kubrick and Be@rbrick set is expected to hit store shelves sometime in October 2009 to coincide with the release of the live action Where The Wild Things Are movie based on Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s book of the same name. The WTWTA Kubrick/Be@rbrick set will retail for $19.99.

Where The Wild Things Are Kubrick Series

The live action Where The Wild Things Are movie comes out October 16th, 2009. That same month Medicom Toy will be releasing its Where The Wild Things Are Kubrick series. The Where The Wild Things Are Kubrick series will include Max and all seven Wild Things from Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s book. I don’t know about you guys, but with all of the sculpting and details on the Wild Things Kubricks they don’t really even look like Kubrick figures anymore. Nevertheless, these will be a must get for any die hard WTWTA fan.


Each Where The Wild Things Are Kubrick blind box will retail for $9.99 or you can purchase a case of 24 blind boxes on sale at Urban Collector here for $191.99. I haven’t seen any mention of this set’s ratios yet, but you can be certain some figures will be harder to get than others and I am sure Medicom has a chase or two up their sleeves. Since all of the WTWTA characters are accounted for, I am guessing any variant figures produced will be alternate colorways.
