Johnny Cupcakes x The Wizard Power Mitt T-Shirt

Johnny Cupcakes rocked the 80’s nostalgia once against last Saturday night by hosting a screening of The Wizard at the Coolidge Corner Theater in Boston. (link) When The Blot was younger I was absolutely mesmerized by the Nintendo/video game inspired 1989 movie The Wizard starring Fred Savage. I am pretty sure every kid I knew back then wanted, no needed a Nintendo Power Glove controller after seeing the movie. To be honest, I even still have mine, although it doesnt quite fit right anymore.

Heidi Klum Screen Print by David Flores

The Blot is super busy and sick, what a horrible combination! Plus I have to make a return trip to the dentist this morning, which I absolutely abhor, but enough about me. Yesterday was German supermodel Heidi Klum’s birthday and in honor of such a monumental event I thought I’d highlight David Flores’ newly released screen print of Mrs. Seal (it went on sale yesterday, Monday June 1st). It’s a little risqué, but I think even Aly would like it since she’s obsessed with the Klum hosted Project Runway.

Pink Heidi Klum Screen Print by David Flores
“Klum” is available now at the Something Ill online store in two different colorways. The Green Klum print sells for $40, is 18”x24”, features two colors and has an Edition Size of 18 (with 12 still remaining). The much cooler 18”x24” Pink Klum print (which you can see above) is a 7 color screen print and also has an Edition Size of 18. But, the Pink Klum print retails for $70 and there are only 7 prints remaining, so if you want one hop to it! While it doesn’t say it, I assume both prints come signed and numbered by David Flores.
