First Look - Lift Exclusive Doktor A. Mad’l
Lift unveiled a very tiny teaser image of its upcoming exclusive Doktor A. 5" Mad’l. The picture isn’t very large, but it does confirm that the Mad’l will look like the character at the bottom of the flyer for Dok A’s upcoming art exhibition “Freak Mechanique” (see below). Rumor has it MAD is hard at work prepping a new line of production Mad’ls, so keep your eyes peeled to The Blot Says… for all the latest!

Lost Screen Print #12 - Jacob’s Cabin by Daniel Danger
The Blot loved last week’s Lost print “Jacob’s Cabin” by Daniel Danger so much I tried to buy it! But of course it sold out as I was trying to complete the transaction. Danger’s landscape prints are dark and beautiful, and Jacob’s cabin fits his style perfectly. I first learned of Danger when he released a print entitled “Sanctum Sanctorum” for Gallery1988’s “Tribute to Stan Lee” show. As you can tell from the print’s title, it featured Dr. Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum and looks amazing! You can see Danger’s Marvel Comics inspired print here.
“Jacob’s Cabin” is the twelfth screen print released on Damon, Carlton and A Polar Bear in honor of Lost’s sixth and final season. Daniel Danger’s limited edition Lost screen print “Jacob’s Cabin” measures 24”x18”, is printed on black paper, has a run size of 300 pieces and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print sells for $50 each and could have been purchased here before it sold out.
In celebration of LOST's final season and as a project of fan appreciation, 16 top designers and artists, who are also fans of the show, were commissioned to create artwork celebrating one of the series' most memorable, and unforgettable, "water cooler" moments. This ultimate "fan art" was then turned into labor intensive, hand-pulled screen prints, limited to an edition of just 300, with less than 200 available to the public through our websites. Each beautiful poster tells its own different story, allowing the fan to relive memorable and influential moments in an artistic manner, as the show's storied run comes to a close. Once this limited edition print has sold out, they will never be printed again. Celebrate the fandom, community and family created by one of televisions' greatest shows by hanging a little part of its history, inspiration and influence on your wall. (link)
