Kidrobot x Jeremyville The Love Bunny Plush

Kidrobot is about to release a brand new plush doll from the mind of Jeremyville, and The Blot thinks it’s probably going to be part of Aly’s upcoming Valentine’s Day present (like getting engaged wasn’t romantic enough!). As the KR ad says, you’ll never be a victim of unrequited affection ever again with The Love Bunny in your life.


Artist Jeremyville’s super soft limited edition plush figure measures 16 inches from ears to feet, has embroidered freckles & eyes, appliqued hearts on his chest and feet, and retails for $29.95. The Love Bunny also comes with a full color, 8 page comic book by the artist. The Love Bunny will be available for purchase at select retailers, Kidrobot stores or Kidrobot.com starting late January 2010.

Dunny Fatale Blind Box Series

Kidrobot has finally made an official announcement concerning the release of their next 3 inch blind box series, Dunny Fatale! The Dunny Femme Fatale series features designs from 18 prominent and talented female artists. Some are cute and sweet while others are bold and cruel, but all are irresistible. Photos of the series leaked almost two months ago, so it’s nice to see Kidrobot finally acknowledge this awesome looking mini figure series.


Each blind boxed 3” Dunny retails for $7.95, comes with a trading card and some include accessories. These Femme Fatale Dunnys start seducing collectors in late January at select retailers, Kidrobot stores and on Kidrobot.com.


Artists in the Dunny Fatale Series include Alex Anderson, Catalina Estrada, Klor, CW, Aiko, Kathie Olivas, Wendi Koontz, Koralie, The Baroness, Anna Chambers, Amanda Visell, Amy Ruppel, Julie West, Toofly, Junko Mizuno, Aya Kakeda, Tara McPherson and Sara Varon.

Alyenz Blind Box Mini Figure Series

As you all know, The Blot is constantly on the lookout for the next great designer vinyl figure platform. So, I was really excited to receive a press release earlier this week announcing the launch of the new Alyenz blind box series by Buffalo Toyz, a newly formed designer toys division of well-known French label Attakus. Each Alyenz vinyl figure is 8 cm tall (a little over 3 inches) and will retail for around $10-15.


Alyenz is an all new platform with spicy, atomic, rustic, retro-futuristic or parodic designs, customized by some of Europe’s top fashion professionals and artists from the worlds of graphic design, comics, cinema and of course street art, as well as a few veterans of the vinyl scene. Alyenz offers for the first time a European vision of designer toys, associated with a desire of pointing out the most representative artists of contemporary creation.


Alyenz Series 1 will go on sale in February 2010 and is composed of 9 different figures featuring designs by Genevieve Gauckler, Lewis Trondheim, Soldedad Bravi, Marc Caro, Run, The Black Frog, Stan and Yoann Etienne Aillaud.

Alyenz Series 2 will go on sale in September 2010 and will also be comprised of 9 figures featuring designs by Rolito Pierre la Police, Philippe Buchet, Soledad Bravi, The Black Frog, Fred Blanchard, Etienne Aillaud and Yoann.
