The only movie coming out in 2010 that The Blot’s looking forward seeing as much as Iron Man 2 is Tron 2 (a.k.a. Tron: Legacy), and I’m teetering on the edge of saying I’m actually looking forward to Tron 2 more since it’ll be released in Disney 3D. From the few brief scenes we’ve seen so far, I’m confident in saying the look and feel of Tron 2 is incredible, and I can’t even begin to imagine how the film’s special effects will translate into IMAX 3D.
TRON: Legacy will premiere in theaters everywhere in December 2010.

New Extended Iron Man 2 Trailer
This latest extended Iron Man 2 trailer has me all kinds of giddy. It’s just plain awesome! Seeing War Machine in action was pretty cool, but what really blew me away was the inclusion of Iron Man’s suitcase suit. I thought it couldn’t be done in live action, but Jon Favreau did! Iron Man 2 is going to be pure movie magic, and it’s just too bad we have to wait a few more months, until the summer of 2010, to finally see it.
Iron Man 2 premieres May 2 in theaters everywhere.

Johnny Cupcakes 2010 Suitcase Tour

As you may or may not know, one of the foundations of the Johnny Cupcakes brand was when John used to sling wrinkled up, gas scented t-shirts out of his crusty suitcase while on tour with his former band. There were even tours where he’d barely pack any clothes for him to wear, so he could make more room for his Johnny Cupcakes gear. Starting this April, JC’s going back to his roots and scheduling an old school Suitcase Tour as a way to meet his many faithful customers scattered across our great country. If you follow The Blot on Twitter, then you already know how excited I am about the upcoming Johnny Cupcakes Suitcase Tour. Johnny Cupcakes is one of my favorite designers/brands, and I’m really looking forward to meeting John during his tour stop here in Houston on April 12th.
John will be driving the CupcakeMobile all around the USA to sling t-shirts out of his suitcase and hang out with the Johnny Cupcakes faithful. It a great way to celebrate the humble beginnings of the Johnny Cupcakes brand, while meeting long time customers from around the country. There will be six suitcase exclusive t-shirts and a few other specials that can only be purchased at tour stops, and each stop on the tour will be hosted by various neat businesses—art galleries, boutiques, bakeries, toy shops, and many others. There will even be some delicious free treats and surprises at most of these stops!
Each tour stop will be video recorded and JC will compile the footage into a video webisode, which will be uploaded every single day. All of the extra footage will eventually be turned into a full documentary of the tour, which will be released at a later date. For more up to date information, stay tuned to: www.JohnnyCupcakes.com/Tour.
