Super7 - Albino Mummy Gator Vinyl Figure

Among the rarest of creatures found in the wild Florida swamps is the glow in the dark Albino Mummy Gator! This elusive creature can be seen on rare occasion glowing in the dark of night, but never stays above water for long. You know The Blot loves GID vinyl figures, so I’m pretty excited for Super7’s release of the Albino Mummy Gator this weekend.


Albino Mummy Gator by Super7 will retail for $50 each and goes on sale tomorrow, Saturday, May 15th, at 11am PDT at the Super7 Store, and at Super7 Florida's Monsters in the Mangrove art show.

Luke Chueh 8 Inch Dunny Teaser Image

Yesterday, Luke Chueh released the first image of his upcoming 8” Dunny on his Facebook page. The Blot’s very excited for the first ever flocked 8 inch Dunny (something fans have been clamoring for for years) and I do really like this design, but don't we already have this in 3 inch form?


This figure continues the disturbing trend of Kidrobot recycling previously released 3 inch Dunny designs as very expensive 8" figures. First we had Mori Chack’s Gloomy Bear (also from KR’s Series 2009), and if the rumors are true, we can expect MAD’s Modern Hero and Huck Gee’s Skullhead designs from S4 later in the year.

Luke Chueh 8 Inch Dunny will be released this summer, possibly at San Diego Comic-Con 2010. More details to come as they become available.

Da Space Warrior 8 Inch Dunny by Tim Tsui Teaser Image

Yesterday, Kidrobot announced its next 8” Dunny, Da Space Warrior by urban vinyl pioneer Tim Tsui! The Blot’s been hoping for a Tim Tsui designed Dunny for a while, because I think his trademark apes will translate well to the Dunny platform.


The only disappointing part is that Kidrobot is just reproducing Tim’s custom figure from its 2009 Munnyworld Custom Show (see below), instead of bringing a new design to life. But either way, it's still a very cool piece that I'm excited to see in person.


Da Space Warrior 8 inch Dunny by Tim Tsui will retail for $75 (£65 UK; 75€ Europe) and is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide. Da Space Warrior lands at all Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com and select retailers on June 3, 2010.
