Lost Live Screen Print #2 - Sawyer by Kevin Tong

We’re just a few hours away from the LOST Live: The Final Celebration event at UCLA’s Royce Hall and the second Damon, Carlton and a Polar Bear LOST Live screen print was unveiled last night. I’m guessing this means we may or may not see the image of the third LOST print before the event kicks off 7:30pm PDT, but I’m crossing my fingers that we do.

Damon, Carlton and a Polar Bear Lost Screen Prints - Lost Live #2 Sawyer by Kevin Tong
The LOST Live screen print #2 is the second part of an all new triptych designed by artist Kevin Tong specifically for the LOST Live event. It depicts a scene from LOST Live, with Oscar winning composer Michael Giacchino conducting a live orchestra as an episode LOST plays in the background. The LOST scene in question appears to be Sawyer reading (either his letter to the real Sawyer or one of Sawyer’s famous books) while sitting on the remains of Oceanic Flight 815.

UPDATE: LOST Live screen print #2, “Sawyer,” is 18”x24”, comes hand signed and numbered by the artist, and has a limited edition run size of 300 prints. LOST Live - Sawyer can now be purchased from DamonCarltonandaPolarBear.com’s online store for $50 each.

Obey Giant - Ali Canvas Screen Print by Shepard Fairey

Now this is an Obey Giant print The Blot can really get behind. While I kind of wish the Ali Canvas screen print by Shepard Fairey included the Giant logo somewhere, all in all in Shep did an amazing job combining his unique style with an image of Muhammad Ali, the World’s Greatest.

Obey Giant - Ali Canvas Screen Print by Shepard Fairey
“I’m not a big fan of boxing, or organized sports in general, but athletic competition can highlight an inspiring human spirit to triumph over great odds. Muhammad Ali embodies that spirit, and his dogged tenacity led him to three heavyweight titles. He also has a charismatic personality who influenced more than boxing. Ali was a conscientious objector to the Vietnam War and his boastful wordplay is considered a predecessor to rap. I wanted to do an Ali portrait for years, but I was worried about legal issues until I was conveniently commissioned to create a portrait.” - Shepard Fairey

Shepard Fairey’s limited edition 18”x24” Ali Canvas screen print has an edition size of 450 and comes signed and numbered by the artist. The Obey Giant Muhammad Ali print goes on sale today, May 13th, at 11am PDT at the Obey Giant online store. The Ali Foundation and Photographer Michael Tighe receive a portion of the revenue from sales of this print.
