LOST: The Series Finale Event Tonight!

Don’t forget, the official "LOST: The Series Finale Event" starts tonight on ABC at 7/6c with “The Final Journey,” a review of the events of the series. This LOST special will also include past and present cast members discussing their experiences on the show. After that it’s “The End” of LOST at 9/8c. And don't forget to stick around for the LOST themed episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! entitled "Aloha to LOST" airing later that evening. This special Sunday night edition of JKL! will feature Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse and other cast members as they discuss the show's final episode.

I’m sad, excited, nervous and cautiously optimistic about tonight and I'm really hoping this six year adventure ends with a bang (and a rewarding resolution)! Be sure to come back to The Blot Says… tomorrow for my final thoughts on LOST. I hope we're all not crying too much tonight. ;)

New LOST Screen Prints by Ty Mattson

With only hours until the LOST series finale, The Blot wanted to make sure everyone was aware of a third series of LOST inspired screen prints available exclusively at ABC.com. To commemorate the final season of LOST, award-winning graphic designer (and die-hard LOST fan) Ty Mattson has created 8 original prints inspired by the show. The series celebrates the mystery and mythology of LOST in a modern, minimal style reminiscent of another era.





It’s a little strange ABC is jumping in to the LOST screen print phenomenon at such a late date, but I’m sure die-hard LOST fans are happy to know more LOST inspired art is on the way! Especially those LOST fans who missed out on the super limited edition LOST screen prints from Damon, Carlton and a Polar Bear. Each poster is a unique hand-pulled, 2 or 3 color silk-screen print measuring 18x24 on 100lb. white cover.





The first print in the Ty Mattson LOST screen print series, “Smoke Monster,” is currently available from ABC’s online store. Each print retails for $45.95, which to The Blot is pretty expensive considering we still don’t know if these prints are limited edition or even come signed and numbered by the artist. Nevertheless, the prints are pretty cool looking and I’m sure LOST fans will want to get their hands on these! The remaining 7 LOST screen prints designed by Ty Mattson (Dual-Locke, The Eye, LA X, The Numbers, Montand’s Arm, Bunny and Dharma Vans) will go on sale Monday, May 24th, also known as the day after the LOST series finale.

Lost Season 6 Screen Print #8 - LOST by Olly Moss

The eighth and final print in the new LOST Season 6 screen print series by Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear is “LOST” by the super popular Olly Moss. This is the print The Blot’s been waiting all week for, and it definitely lived up to the hype! Moss continues to blow me away with each and every screen print he releases.

In celebration of Lost's series finale, and to bring finality to the LOST ARG poster series, eight top designers and artists, who are also fans of the show, were commissioned to create artwork celebrating top moments from the 6th and final season. Four artists you may recognize and four new artists to DCaaPB screen print campaign, created all new labor intensive, hand-pulled screen prints in celebration of the end of LOST.
