Scott Pilgrim & Ramona Flowers Plush Figures by Mezco Toyz

This summer is shaping up to be the summer of Scott…Scott Pilgrim that is! On July 20th Scott Pilgrim Volume 6, Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour, by Bryan Lee O’Malley hits book shelves, and on August 13th the Scott Pilgrim live action movie adaptation, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, premieres in theaters. Between those two dates The Blot expects lots and lots of Scott Pilgrim merchandise to be popping up in stores, starting with this awesome Scott Pilgrim Plush Set from Mezco Toyz!


The Scott Pilgrim Plush Set includes two 8 inch plush dolls of Scott Pilgrim and his girlfriend Ramona Flowers. I’m not all that into plushes, but these two figures rock. I especially like the Ramona figure with her signature goggles and rollerblades.

First Look: 2010 Summer Exclusive Batman & The Joker Mez-Itz 2 Pack

Only a few days after the big announcement that Mezco Toyz had been granted a license to produce a new line of DC Comics 6” Mez-Itz vinyl figures (I wonder how Mattel feels about that), Mezco has released the first photo of their 2010 Summer Exclusive Batman & Joker Mez-Itz 2 pack. These summer exclusives are based on the characters' looks in the DC Comics, and look pretty cool! The Blot can’t wait to see which superheroes and villains of the DC Universe get the Mez-Itz treatment next.


Best of all, I think that's a batarang I see in Batman's hands! The Mezco Toyz x DC Comics 2010 Summer Exclusive 6 inch Batman and The Joker Mez-Itz vinyl figures 2 pack will be available for pre-order on June 11th at the Mezco Toyz online store here. Each two figure set will retail for $40.

2010 Summer Exclusive Kick-Ass Mez-Itz Super Bundle by Mezco Toyz

While we’ve known about Mezco Toyz’ upcoming Kick-Ass Mez-Itz vinyl figures for a while now (originally seen here), Mezco has finally announced they would be releasing these figures in a “Kick-Ass bundle” as one of the toy company’s 2010 summer exclusives.


The 2010 Summer Exclusive Kick-Ass Mez-Itz Bundle by Mezco Toyz includes four individually packaged figures: a 6” Kick-Ass Mez-Itz, a 6” Hit-Girl Mez-Itz, a 2” Kick-Ass Mini-Mez-Itz Key RingZ and a 2” Hit-Girl Mini-Mez-Itz Key RingZ…all for just $35.00! Collectors will be able to pre-order the Kick-Ass Super Bundle from the Mezco Toyz online store here starting June 11, 2010.


I believe this is the first release of Mezco’s new Mini-Mez-Itz Key RingZ, and I’m very interesting in seeing them in person. According to Mezco’s description of this new product, these Kick-Ass Mini-Mez-Itz Key RingZ feature five points of articulation and a sturdy key ring extending from their heads.
