“The End” Silver Variant LOST Screen Print by Joshua Budich

Because of how quickly Joshua Budich’s LOST inspired screen print “The End” sold out last week, and after receiving a ton of emails from fans begging for a chance at purchasing this awesome print, Budich has decided to produce a second colorway of “The End.” The Silver Variant of “The End” will be a 3 color screen featuring a metallic silver as its base color with black and red accents.

“The End” Silver Variant LOST print will be an 18”x24”, signed and numbered screen print on cream paper. This Silver Variant will have a run size of 125 pieces, slightly larger than the original colorway’s run size of 75. "The End" Silver Variant will be dropping tomorrow, Tuesday, June 15th, at a random time (some time after 1pm EST) here.

Bad Robot 100% Be@rbrick by Medicom

The Blot’s been meaning to blog about this vinyl figure for a while, because I thought LOST fans would get a kick out of learning Medicom has released a 100% Be@rbrick of the Bad Robot mascot as part of its blind boxed Be@rbrick Series 19. As most LOST fans know, Bad Robot Productions (also known as just Bad Robot) is the production company of J.J. Abrams and has produced all of his hit television shows including Felicity, Alias, LOST and Fringe. Bad Robot has also co-produced all of the films Abrams’ has directed, including Mission: Impossible III, Cloverfield and 2009’s Star Trek.

Bad Robot 100% Be@rbrick by Medicom Toy
Last year, Medicom and Bad Robot teamed up to produce Star Trek Be@rbricks (seen here and here) in conjunction with the reboot of the franchise. Along with a Spock Be@rbrick, a Bad Robot Be@rbrick was also included in the Be@rbrick Series 19. While Be@rbrick blind boxes are relative cheap (each under $10), the Bad Robot Be@rbrick is one of the rarest designs in the series with a ratio of 2.9%.

The Bad Robot Be@rbrick is definitely one of the coolest 100% Be@rbricks The Blot’s seen in a long time, and I’m definitely hoping to get my hands on one sometime soon to add to my LOST Be@rbrick and Kubrics!

Welcome to the new TheBlotSays.com!

If you visited The Blot Says… this weekend then you probably noticed some big changes to the website! Not only have I given the site a major facelift, but I finally bit the bullet and purchased TheBlotSays.com. Now you no longer have to type out that annoying extra long blogspot URL. Don’t worry though, all of The Blot Says…’ old links and RSS feeds still work and aren’t going anywhere, but feel free to update your bookmarks to my new and improved domain name.

The Blot Has A Posse
I had been contemplating redesigning the website for a while now, and knowing the rest of 2010 was booked with wedding events, it was finally now or never. The new website is still a “work in progress,” but I really just wanted to get rid of that generic blog look to the site. It’s not there yet, but hopefully over the next few weeks it’ll be looking more and more like a traditional website.

If there are any techies out there who have suggestions on additional tweaks I can make to The Blot Says… (like how to speed up the site’s load time) please shoot me an email! I can definitely use all the help I can get. Thanks again for reading my humble little blog!
