Mondo Star Wars Screen Print Series #1 - Scrap Yard Power Droid by Jeff Soto

Mondo announced today that it has teamed up with Lucasfilm LTD for a completely licensed and official Star Wars poster series, which is some very exciting news for The Blot. Mondo has been secretly working on this for over a year, and today they have released the first in a series of original, limited edition Star Wars inspired screen printed posters. These are sure to sell out extremely quickly once word of this series spreads to the Star Wars community, so if you’re interested in any of these upcoming Star Wars prints act fast!


First up in the Mondo Star Wars Screen Print Series is Jeff Soto’s “Scrap Yard Power Droid” featuring a GNK Power Droid, or as he is known to most people, Gonk. Milton, everyone's favorite walking ice cream cone, once again emerges from the freezer with his waffle cone hat, this time cast in a very strawberry clear pink vinyl with white and red sprayed accents.


The Strawberry Milton vinyl figure from Super7 retails for $15 and will go on sale this Saturday, June 26th at Super7 and Super7 Florida at 11am PDT.

Alice in Wonderland Screen Print by Olly Moss

Based on Lewis Carroll's insanely popular book comes this awesome Alice in Wonderland screen print by Olly Moss! The Blot’s been anxiously awaiting the release of this print ever since Moss first released a teaser image of the design a few weeks ago. Olly really hit this one out of the park on this one. I just love the print’s simplistic, retro book cover look, and I think the mini-Alice at the bottom of the print was a smart addition (kind of giving the print a Disney vibe to it). This is definitely one of those prints that could be hung in anyone’s house.


Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland print by Olly Moss is a two color 16"x24" screen print. Each print comes signed and numbered by the artist and has a relatively small run size of just 192 prints. This AiW print will be released later today, Friday, June 25th, at PostersandToys.net at 2pm CST.
