SDCC 2010 Exclusive Dr. Horrible ELE Edition Custom Vinyl Figure by Jenny Wolf

One of the SDCC exclusives The Blot is looking forward to the most is also one of its most unknown: the Evil League of Evil Edition Dr. Horrible custom vinyl figure by Jenny Wolf! As you all know, The Blot’s a huge fan of Joss Whedon’s web musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, and a vinyl figure of Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible is one of the greatest things ever! Not only that, but it also doubles as a How I Met Your Mother Barney Stinson vinyl figure…that’s two toys for the price of one.


This special San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Dr. Horrible colorway features Dr. Horrible in his Evil League of Evil red coat and black accessories (which he wears at the end of the web series), and comes holding a top secret ELE file folder. Each SDCC exclusive 5" Dr. Horrible figure comes signed and numbered by the artist and has a limited edition run of size of 50 figures. These awesome toys will go on sale the Thursday morning of Comic-Con at Dragatomi’s SDCC booth #3848 for $60 each. And for those of us not attending SDCC there is hope, any remaining figures will go on sale at Jenny’s online store sometime after the convention.


And for those of you hoping to get your hands on a Dr. Horrible vinyl figure in his traditional white coat, one is already in production! The OG Dr. Horrible colorway will be sold this fall as part of a three figure set, which will also include Captain Hammer and Penny action figures. SDCC 2010 Exclusive Galactus 19 Inch Marvel Universe Action Figure

At San Diego Comic-Con this year Hasbro will be releasing a SDCC Exclusive 19" Galactus Marvel Universe deluxe action figure packaged in a blister card with artwork by Marvel Editor-In-Chief Joe Quesada. The blister card will be a gigantic 27 inches tall, keeping it in scale with the 19” Galactus and matching the blister card packaging of Hasbro’s Marvel Universe 3.75” action figure toy line.


The Blot has not found any information on the San Diego Comic-Con 2010 Exclusive Galactus 19” Marvel Universe action figure’s runs size or price yet, but I do have good news for those of us unable to attend this year's Comic-Con. A second version of the deluxe 19” Galactus Marvel Universe action figure will be released sometime after Comic-Con. The non-SDCC exclusive version will be packaged in some sort of window-box packaging (instead of on a blister card) and include an all new Silver Surfer 3.75” Marvel Universe action figure.

SDCC 2010 Grendel (Hunter Rose) Mallow by Shocker Toys

When Jocasta Rose died, she gave Eddie a new direction in his life and he adopted a twin persona, the celebrated novelist Hunter Rose…and the crime lord Grendel. This summer, Shocker Toys will be producing two brand new figures of Matt Wagner’s popular villain, Grendel. The first is the Wizard Tour 2010 Exclusive Grendel (Hunter Rose) action figure, and the second is the San Diego Comic-Con 2010 Exclusive Grendel (Hunter Rose) Mallow.


The SDCC 2010 Exclusive Grendel (Hunter Rose) Mallow is a 5" designer vinyl figure with 9 points of articulation! This awesome Comic-Con exclusive has a limited edition run size of 500 pieces, and will retail for $15. Collectors can purchase a Grendel (Hunter Rose) Mallow directly from Shocker Toys at its SDCC booth #3849. Any remaining Grendel Mallows should go on sale at the Shocker Toys online store sometime after SDCC.

LTD Tee has released its newest box set, and it’s “Mandy” by world famous Playboy Magazine illustrator Dean Yeagle! Dean’s character Mandy is quite the looker, isn’t she?
