First Look: DC Comics The Dark Knight Batman & Joker Mez-Itz 2 Pack
The third all new DC Universe Mez-Itz Vinyl Figure 2-pack from Mezco Toyz to be unveiled last night at San Diego Comic-Con’s Preview Night is The Dark Knight Batman and The Joker Mez-Itz 2-pack, which features designs based on the hit summer blockbuster The Dark Knight. These are not to be confused with the Summer 2010 Exclusive Batman and Joker Mez-Itz 2-pack, which features designs based on the characters’ appearance in the DC comic books.

First Look: DC Universe Superman & Darkseid Mez-Itz 2 Pack
Bloggers were working overtime during San Diego Comic-Con’s Preview Night yesterday. The photo below comes from Mezco Toyz’ SDCC 2010 booth and is the first look at the toy company’s upcoming DC Universe Mez-Itz 2-pack, which includes Superman and Darkseid.

First Look: Star Wars Mini Mighty Muggs
The first photos from San Diego Comic-Con 2010 are already starting to come in and this news even surprised The Blot. Hasbro has on display a brand new line of Mini Star Wars Mighty Muggs! These never before seen Star Wars Mini Muggs are marked as exclusives will go on sale October 1, 2010.
UPDATE: Thanks to reader Chris, we now know it was announced at Hasbro's SDCC panel that these Star Wars Mini Mighty Muggs are a Target Exclusive and will be sold as 3-packs for $12.99. Very interesting news!

New Brightest Day Action Figures by DC Direct
After the Blackest Night comes the Brightest Day! DC Comics unveiled on its official blog The Source that DC Direct will be in essence continuing its line of Blackest Night action figures with a spin-off, a Brightest Day toy line! If you loved the toys based on last year’s DC Universe spanning event Blackest Night, then you’re really going to love these new figures!
Starting in March, DC Direct will kick off another series of high-quality and story-specific product, this time based around the hit biweekly series Brightest Day. Included in the toy line’s first two waves are Hawkgirl, Green Arrow, Deadman, Aquaman, Hawkman, Martian Manhunter, Firestorm and Mera.
DC Direct blew me away with last years hugely successful Blackest Night toy line, and The Blot can’t wait to see these new figures. DCD really took their action figures to the next level with Blackest Night, and I’m hoping they continue that upward trend with the Brightest Day line. If I had to say anything negative about this announcement it’s that they didn’t include any of the resurrected villains (Captain Boomerang, Maxwell Lord or Osiris) in the line’s first two waves. All I know is there had better be a Wave 3 which includes Hawk, Dove, Jade and Digger!

Los Angeles De La Muerte Custom Munny Vinyl Figure by Huck Gee
It’s been a few weeks since Huck Gee released a new custom Munny, but his latest figure is pretty awesome looking! Meet Los Angeles De La Muerte, the revered guardians of the Taurenos royal family.
The Taurenos monarchy has ruled Naoya 13 for the better part of two centuries. Maintaining their hold on this tumultuous kingdom has been no easy feat, thwarting numerous coup and assassination attempts over the decades. The inner sanctum of House Taurenos' security forces are the well known and revered Los Angeles De La Muerte.
These elite troops are hand picked at a very young age, biomechanically enhanced, rewired and groomed into their roles as the sole guardians of the royal family. Linked together, they act as a single unit sharing their data streams. Their sole purpose in life is to protect the royal family. Knowing nothing but loyalty, it's almost chivalrous. Can you think of a more trustworthy and efficient team to guard Queen Taurenos and her family?

Star Trek “The Trouble With Tribbles” Screen Prints by Olly Moss
Mondo Tees will be continuing its line of screen prints based on episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series with not one, but two new prints by Olly Moss! One of the show’s most identifiable aliens by both Trekkers and the general public alike are the cute, yet deadly, multiplying Tribbles! Moss pays homage to the classic Star Trek episode “The Trouble With Tribbles” in his trademark minimalist style.
The Blot is really digging both versions of these prints, and I especially like how Moss was able to include the entire crew of the USS Enterprise in both versions (well at least the outline of their heads). There are two versions of Olly’s Star Trek print, a blue Spock Edition and a red Uhura Edition, which also, coincidentally, matches the colors of their Starfleet uniforms.
