“Those Damn Birds!” is a funny pop culture themed design that combines Alfred Hitchock’s trademark profile shadow with one of his most popular films (The Birds) in a most unique way. I think you can probably figure out the connection just by looking at the design below without The Blot going into too much detail! I’m also really digging Threadless’ choice of t-shirt colors for this design. The black and turquoise color combination does a great job highlighting the white splat on Alfred’s head.

Brightest Day Action Figures Series 2

Brightest Day, the bi-weekly DC Comics' follow up to Blackest Night, continues as the mystery behind the white light that resurrected twelve heroes and villains begins to unravel. Though the exact reasons for their rebirths remain a mystery, each is destined to play an intricate role in the future of the DC Universe. DC Direct’s Brightest Day Series 2 features three recently resurrected heroes, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman and Firestorm, and one previously resurrected hero, Mera.



Each Brightest Day action figure stands at 6.5-6.75" tall, features multiple points of articulation, includes a display base and comes packaged in a 4-color clamshell blister card. These resurrected heroes are scheduled to go on sale April 6, 2011.
