Threadless Sesame Street “The Real Mmmmmph Mmmph Monster!” T-Shirt

Is it me or is Sesame Street making a come back in the coveted 18-35 marketing demographic? I’ve seen a lot of Cookie Monster parody shirts pop-up recently, and “The Real Mmmmmph Mmmph Monster!” continues that trend with a unique take on the insatiable blue monster. Re-imagining Cookie Monster as if he were a real monster, Threadless’ “The Real Mmmmmph Mmmph Monster!” features a blue monster that looks eerily similar to those classic Japanese giant monsters like Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah.

FIRST LOOK: Rare Aya Kakeda Centaur Dunny from Kidrobot’s Dunny Series 2010

Thanks to Rotofugi, we now have our very first look at Aya Kakeda’s Dunny Series 2010 design, and it looks awesome! Aya’s Centaur design is a standard Dunny with an accessory of two back legs which attaches from behind. While the figure looks great, with a ratio of 1/400 very few of us will be able to add it to our collections. Expect to pay some big bucks if you’re not able to pull this four legged Dunny from a blind box.


Each Kidrobot’s 3” Dunny Series 2010 blind box retails for $7.95, and goes on sale today at all Kidrobot locations, Kidrobot.com, and stores worldwide. GID Bacon Mad'l by Sket-One & West Coast Signing at Crewest LA

While we’ve known about the upcoming Wizard Sleeve Toys Exclusive Bacon Mad'l by Sket One for a while, what came as a total surprise is the uber-rare Glow in the Dark chase that mysteriously showed up at Sket’s east coast signing! While the standard Bacon Mad’l will be available at WST’s online store soon, these super-secret GID chase figures will only be available for purchase at Sket’s east and west coast Bacon Mad’l release parties…although rumor has it you might be able to pull one blind box style on Bacon purchases from WST.


If you missed the signing at Kidrobot NY a few weeks ago, you’re in luck…Sket will be signing again this Friday in LA. The official west coast release party of Wizard Sleeve Toys’ Bacon Mad'l and a special signing with Sket One will take place this Friday, August 20th, from 6-9 pm at Crewest LA.


Sket’s Bacon Mad*l is 5.5 inches tall and the regular edition has a limited edition run size of 300 pieces. No word yet on the run size of the GID chase, but it’s pretty rare! Best of all, the Glow in the Dark Bacon Mad'l features silver blood splatter instead red. These figures will most likely retail somewhere around $45-60 each, I haven’t seen an exact price yet.

Spanky Stokes Exclusive Ash Tuttz Wave 2 by Argonaut Resins

The Blot’s been waiting for the reveal of the SpankyStokes.com Exclusive Ash Tuttz Wave 2 resin figures by Argonaut Resins for a while, and boy did they deliver! END has been killing it with his Wave 2 releases lately, and the Ash series is no exception. Of course I favor the Batman inspired Dark Knight Hellion Tuttz, but I’m also really digging the Kaws inspired Fake OG Black Clear Tint Tuttz.


The Spanky Stokes Exclusive Ash Tuttz Wave 2 by Argonaut Resins consists of six figures: Fake OG Black Clear Tint, Dark Ash Clear Tint, Dark Knight Hellion, Sylvester, Ash UnderWorld and Smokey Jade Tint. If you like the Tuttz platform and have been trying to pick a colorway and/or wave to go after, this is the one…each piece is so unique and I love that it includes three very unique clear tints.

These six resin figures will be sold blind box style for $50 each, and go on sale today, Thursday, August 19th, at noon PST in the SpankyStokes online store. Each figure comes packaged in custom a custom box and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.

This weekend sees the release of a sparkly new take on the Super7 mascot Mummy Boy. This Clear Purple vinyl with Glitter Mummy boy is one of The Blot’s personal favorites, and I can’t wait to see this killer piece of vinyl in person!
