VTSS Exclusive Snow Forest Little Axe by Erick Scarecrow

The amazing resin releases from ESC Toy just keep on coming! Their newest figure is the Little Axe Snow Forest colorway by Erick Scarecrow. This colorway is limited to just 30 pieces and is a Vince Toy Studio & Shop Taiwan exclusive. Each 6" hand painted resin figure is signed, numbered and packaged by the artist, and includes a lightweight removable axe accessory. Snow Forest Little Axe’s Story: Previously, an obnoxious wolf had lost one of his paws by the chop of a little girl's axe. His pride was hurt and he decided to trade some of his valuable fur for a weapon with a local blacksmith. Time had passed and snow blanketed the forest. The wolf practiced with his weapon everyday.

One afternoon, the wolf spotted another little girl dressed in white trying to chop wood. Flashbacks of his last encounter with a little girl drove him into a rage. As he leaped aiming to cut her in two, her twin sister dropped from above and beheaded him. A trap set up by the Snow Forest Twins to grow their collection of wolf heads.

Kry-ju Edition Bootleg Rose Vampire Resin Figure by Dodgrr

As a self-proclaimed Rose Vampire fanatic, I got a tad excited when world renowned toy bootlegger Dodgrr tweeted a pic of a bootleg Rose Vampire he had just created. Not only is it a spot-on recreation of Super7’s most popular Monster Family figure in resin, but the colors from Dodgrr’s Krylon paint job do a fantastic job showcasing the intricacies of the figure’s details.


Now because this figure is a bootleg and not a custom, Dodgrr cannot sell this great figure. But out of the kindness of his heart, he donated it to my ever growing Rose Vampire collection (hence the pictures seen here). I seriously can’t get over how he was able to perfectly recreate Josh Herbolsheimer’s original design, and what a sick job Dodgrr did spray painting this resin Rose Vampire. But don’t take my word for it, check out the close up pics below:

They Live Resin Figures by Motorbot

Motorbot just continues to produce awesome new hand made resin figures week after week! His newest creation is based on the aliens from the 1988 cult classic They Live by John Carpenter and starring Roddy Piper and Keith David. The They Live 4" resin figures feature all new alien head sculpts and utilize the previously seen Morgon body. Motorbot will be debuting these movie themed figures at Gallery1988 San Francisco’s Crazy4Cult show on Saturday, September 4th, but you can expect future colorways to be released soon.


They Live is one of The Blot’s favorite movies for a few reasons: it stars one of my all time favorite professional wrestlers, it features one of the greatest one liners of all time (“I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all out of bubblegum”), and it was part of the inspiration behind Shepard Fariey naming his company Obey Giant.


But enough about the movie! While two of the They Live resin figures will be debuting at C4C, Motorbot has 4 more They Live figures (2 color and 2 monochromatic) available for purchase right now. Cookies-N-Cream Exclusive Gold Tuttz Wave 2 by Argonaut Resins

This Saturday, NYC based group Cookies-N-Cream will be releasing its second and final wave of their exclusive Gold Colorway Tuttz resin figure by Argonaut Resins! Wave 2 contains only 5 figures, including 3 chase figures (Underworld, Bandit and a Picasso Clear Tint).


The Cookies-N-Cream Exclusive Gold Tuttz Wave 2 of Argonaut Resins will go on sale simultaneously via the Cookies-N-Cream online store and mobile shop this Saturday, September 4th, at 12:00 noon EST. These five resin figures will be sold blind box style for $55 each, and each figure comes packaged in a custom box and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
