DC Universe Funko Force Bobble Heads Series 1

Funko continues its line of collectible 5 inch Funko Force bobble heads with a new series based on the superheroes and villains of DC Comics. DC Universe Funko Force Bobble Heads Series 1 includes Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Joker and Aquaman.

DC Universe Funko Force Bobble Heads Series 1 - Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Joker & Aquaman
I love Aquaman, but doesn’t his inclusion in Series 1 seem a little surprising? I’m sure Funko was trying to go with the most mainstream DC characters for Series 1, but wouldn’t you include Wonder Woman, Robin, or The Flash over Aquaman? Regardless, I’m sure we’ll be seeing all three of these heroes in bobble head form sometime soon…as we’ve all come to learn, you can’t have a Series 1 without a Series 2!

The DC Universe Funko Force Bobble Heads are currently available for pre-order at EntertainmentEarth.com for $11.99. They are expected to start shipping sometime in November of 2010.

Leviticus 4 Foot Organ Donor Figure by FOOX

On Friday, September 3rd, FOOX debuted some all new work as part of a group show curated by Vanessa Ruiz of Street Anatomy at the International Museum of Surgical Science. This is FOOX’ first museum exhibition, and one piece stands head and shoulders above the rest, a 4 foot tall Organ Donor figure named Leviticus! How awesome is this giant Organ Donor!?!

Sons of Anarchy Season 3 Television Poster

Sons of Anarchy, one of The Blot’s favorite TV shows, returns tonight, Tuesday, September 7th, for an all new season! SOA Season 2 was riveting appointment television, and I’m hoping Season 3 continues that upward trend. There were some mighty big cliffhangers at the end of last season and needless to say, SAMCRO is looking for some revenge.

How and why I won’t spoil here, but even if you’ve never seen an episode of Sons of Anarchy tune in tonight…you definitely won’t be disappointed! I describe the show as The Sopranos on motorcycles, which is about as high of praise as I can give a TV show about family and organized crime.

Sons of Anarchy stars Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, and Katey Sagal, and airs Tuesday nights on FX at 10/9c.
