Blood & Fuzz 8 Inch Dunny by Luke Chueh - On Sale October 14th

While collectors have known about Luke Chueh’s upcoming 8 inch Blood & Fuzz Dunny for a while now, Kidrobot has still not given an official announcement of its release. Thankfully, Luke himself ended the speculation when he announced his upcoming signing at Kidrobot LA on Thursday, October 14th!

Luke Chueh will be at the Los Angeles Kid Robot store, Thursday, October 14th, for the release of the 8 inch version of his Series 6 Dunny, the aptly titled Blood & Fuzz Dunny. The flocked 3” version of this figure was sick, so I can only imagine how awesome an 8” version will look! The signing will take place from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, but I’d be pretty hesitant to get the actual figure signed…not too sure how a signature would look on a flocked Dunny.

The run size and price of this figure is currently unknown, but the artwork seen above was created by Luke especially for the packaging of this figure. The Blot will be sure to write a follow up blog post once more details are known.

Johnny Cupcakes Artist Series 3 by The Little Friends Of Printmaking

The third Johnny Cupcakes Artist Series was released last week, and they are so freaking cute I can’t stand it! These exclusive t-shirt designs were specially crafted for Johnny Cupcakes by the fine styling of The Little Friends Of Printmaking. The Little Friends Of Printmaking are a husband and wife print-mastermind team from Wisconsin, who you might remember from the LOST Season 6 screen print series. They are the talented artists behind “Not Penny’s Boat.”

Johnny Cupcakes Artist Series 3 consists of two designs, “Camp” and “Delivery”, both designed by The Little Friends Of Printmaking. The “Camp” t-shirt retails for $39.99 and can be purchased in guys and girls tees in sizes S–2XL. Mondo Star Wars Screen Print Series #8 - Salacious B. Crumb by Rhys Cooper

The eighth screen print in the Mondo Star Wars Screen Print Series was unveiled yesterday and it’s features Salacious B. Crumb, the Kowakian monkey-lizard employed by Jabba the Hutt as a quasi-court jester. The “Salacious B. Crumb” print by Rhys Cooper spotlights one of The Blot’s favorite scenes from Return of the Jedi, where Crumb is seen tearing out C-3PO’s eye as Jabba’s empire crumbles to the ground.

According to Cooper, "I always thought Salacious Crumb is the kind of character that makes Star Wars great. Little personalities like his are what give the galaxy far far away its depth and diversity."

“Salacious B. Crumb” by Rhys Cooper is a hand numbered 24″x36″ screen print with metallic inks. This killer Star Wars print has a limited edition run size of 325, and will retail for $50 each.
