Last Saturday night The Blot hit up Houston’s House of Blues to see Aziz Ansari, one of my favorite comedians, perform. His stand-up routine is hilarious, and if you haven’t heard his comedy album Intimate Moments For A Sensual Evening go buy it now! I had been looking forward to this show for months, and Aziz definitely didn’t disappoint. But what really surprised me about the show was to learn Aziz was releasing a different screen print for each stop on his Dangerously Delicious Tour.
While lots of bands have a different gig poster for each tour stop, I’ve never heard of a comedian doing something like this. They might have one screenprint for the whole tour, but to commission a different poster for each show shows Aziz’ love of rock poster art. Best of all, the Houston poster was made by the very talented artists at Invisible Creature. Invisible Creature was commissioned to create 4 posters for Aziz' tour stops in New York, DC, Houston and Austin, and they all turned out pretty great. Best of all, all posters purchased at the show came signed by Aziz (see photo above)!
All four Aziz Ansari Dangerously Delicious Tour screen prints by Invisible Creature are currently available for purchase from the Invisible Creature online store for $20 each. And keep your eyes peeled for more amazing releases from Invisible Creature, including their very first vinyl figure from Super7! It’ll be produced as part of Super7’s Monster Family toy line.

Super7 Monster Family Halloween Glass Set
It’s Super7’s favorite time of year once again! Halloween, the spookiest holiday of them all, brings all of the Monster Family’s creepy creatures out into the night. In honor of this Halloween, Super7 presents a set of glasses to enjoy a tasty beverage while waiting for the monster masses to knock at the door.
The Super7 Monster Family Halloween Glass Set includes four glasses, each featuring a different Monster Family member (Steven the Bat, Garuru, Rose Vampire & Big Sal). The artwork on these glasses is top notch, and the Rose Vampire glass will definitely be joining The Blot’s collection!
Each glass can be purchased individually for $10 or you can purchase all four glasses as a set for $35. While an official release date is currently unknown, you can expect these spooky glasses to go on sale at Super7Store.com sometime soon.

Barneyism of the Week - New Is Always Better
Ted, I know you love crappy old stuff no one cares about,
but I’m gonna give you four words to live by:
New. Is. Always. Better.
“New is always better?” - Ted
You know who‘s a million times hotter than the hottest girl I’ve ever slept with?
Her ok looking friend I haven’t seen naked.
Why?
Because, new is always better.
“And this theory applies to everything?” - Ted
Everything.
“So, those new Star Wars movies, those are better than the old ones?” - Ted
Yeah, the first three barely mentioned the intricacies of intergalactic trade law.
“Then when you’re at a Guns N’ Roses concert you’re like,
'Yeah, yeah, Paradise City whatever, when are they going to rock me some Chinese Democracy?'" - Ted
Axl’s really matured as a song writer Ted.
