When The Blot first read on Twitter that Johnny Cupcakes was looking into creating a line of designer vinyl figures based on his designs I got pretty excited. So imagine my delight when earlier this week Johnny posted a small preview of the first Johnny Cupcakes toy, Big Kid!
You probably recognize Big Kid from his many t-shirt designs, but just in case you’re unfamiliar with this character, he’s one of Johnny Cupcakes’ primarily mascots. The sculptors did an incredible job transforming this 2D character into a 3D mold, and I can’t wait to get my hands on one!
Big Kid stands nearly 6 inches tall and will be available in all sorts of fancy colors and editions. Johnny Cupcakes fans can expect the first Big Kid colorway to hit stores sometime in early 2011. Other Johnny Cupcakes toys, as well as cartoons featuring these characters, will also be debuting sometime in the near future!

The Walking Dead Shooting Target Prints
The Secret Headquarters, the cult favorite source for graphic novels, has released a set of limited edition prints to celebrate the October 31st premiere of The Walking Dead on AMC. Inspired by shooting range targets, the prints pay homage to the acclaimed comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman that the television show is based on. The four prints were designed by Jordan Crane and illustrated by Lisa Hanawalt, Jon Vermilyea, Johnny Ryan and Jordan Crane.
Available individually ($40) or as a four print set ($150), these archival quality The Walking Dead Shooting Range Target prints measure 23”x35” and were hand printed on acid free 70lb paper. Each The Walking Dead print has a limited edition run size of 100 pieces and comes signed by both the artist and Robert Kirkman. All four prints are currently available for purchase at WalkingDeadPrints.com.

Super7 - Clear Green Patty Power by Arbito
Who's hungry? Because a certain space-travelling hamburger is back on the menu! Sensational spaced out artist Arbito serves up a second helping of Patty Power, prepared well done. This far out Clear Green Patty Power with blue and purple spray looks awesome, and for a production piece it does an amazing job capturing Arbito’s 70s style.
The Clear Green Painted Patty Power will go on sale this Saturday, November 6th, at 1pm CST. This Monster Family figure will retail for $30 each at the Super7 online store.
