Plaseebo x DeadBear Studios Steam Punk Edition Skulloctopus

Check out this crazy new collaboration between Plaseebo and DeadBear Studios. Each Steam Punk Edition Skulloctopus vinyl figure was hand painted by Motorbot and features swirl glass eyes and an internal color changing motion activated LED. This figure rocks, but with the motion activated LED I’m pretty sure Aly would never let me have one of these in the house. She’s somewhat of a scaredy cat and literally be screaming every time the color changing LED turned on unexpectedly.

The Plaseebo x DeadBear Studios Steam Punk Edition Skulloctopus vinyl figure has a limited edition run size of 10 pieces and will be released on Tuesday, November 16th, at Plaseebo's online store. Each figure will retail for $110.

“Cowboy” Seahorse and Rider Vinyl Figure by Amanda Visell

The second version of Amanda Visell’s Seahorse and Rider vinyl toy is the Cowboy version (produced by Paradise Toys) and includes a magnetic little girl doing her best cowgirl impression. Which begs the question, why was this toy not called the Cowgirl version? This grey and black Cowboy Seahorse and Rider vinyl figure stands 7 inches tall, has 2 points of articulation and has a limited edition run size of just 100 figures!

The second colorway of Amanda Visell’s Seahorse and Rider vinyl figure is a Lulubell Toys exclusive in the US, with 50 figures available through Lulubell Toys and 50 figures available directly from Paradise Toys in Taipei.

First Ever Green Lantern Movie Video Clip

So the video clip above features the first ever video of the upcoming live action Green Lantern movie. The catch is it’s just a preview of the preview set to air on Entertainment Tonight tomorrow, Tuesday, November 16th. Talk about a tease, right? But how awesome does it look!?!? Ryan Reynolds even looks believable as Hal Jordan (and yes, that is freaking GL Kilowag at the end of the clip). Kidrobot x Sanrio Empress of the Underworld Hello Kitty by Frank Kozik

Legendary San Francisco based artist Frank Kozik teams up with Kidrobot and Sanrio to reimagine Japan’s coolest cat, Hello Kitty. The Empress of the Underworld Hello Kitty, wicked in red and flashing fangs, forked feet and devilish horns, comes with appropriately malevolent accessories: a pitchfork and a spider sidekick.

The Empress of the Underworld Hello Kitty by Frank Kozik stands 6 inches tall and retails for $39.95. This devilish vinyl figure will be available, along with Tara McPherson’s new Magic Love Hello Kitty, at Kidrobot stores, Kidrobot.com and select retailers starting December 2nd.

Also, Frank Kozik, the godfather of vinyl, will be at Kidrobot San Francisco for a pre-release signing of his upcoming Sanrio collaboration on Thursday, November 18th from 6-8 pm.
