The Blot teased this new release by Skinner last week and the final product looks even cooler than the prototype! The Outsider: Lich of the Shunned Plains resin figure, created by Skinner and produced by Motorbot’s DeadBear Studios, will make its debut tomorrow at Designer Con exclusively at the Dragatomi booth.
Skinner hand painted ten figures for DCon and I have to say, his color selection and paint job look incredible. They did what I thought impossible, improved upon an already impressive design and sculpting job. For those able to attend DCon, The Outsider: Lich of the Shunned Plains will be released at 1pm at the Dragatomi booth #202, where Skinner will in attendance for a signing.
Also check out the official Production Rub Colorway of The Outsider produced and painted by DeadBear Studios. No word yet if these will also be available at Designer Con, but if not I’m sure they’ll be up for sale soon after.
Super7 will be taking a trip to Pasadena this Saturday for the fifth annual Designer Con, and they won’t be empty handed! They’ll be bringing along the Designer Con Exclusive Brown Garuru by Itokin Park seen above! This 4” figure will retail for $30 each and sold exclusively at the Super7 DCon booth #416.
Check out the Sucklord’s newest Dumny colorway, the Childern Toy Blue Magic resin figure. This Designer Con exclusive is the fifth colorway of the Sucklord’s Dumny bootleg Dunny resin figure, and it looks pretty sharp with its white body, blue splatter paint and blue cape. The Childern Toy Blue Magic Dumny has a limited edition run size of 13 pieces and can be purchased at DKE Toys’ DCon booth # 100 for $40 each. Sucklord's Dumny figures have been extremely popular, so expect these little guys to go quickly!
Although most of you probably saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I last night at the midnight showings, here’s one last set of Harry Potter movie posters to whet your appetite before the weekend. This Harry Potter movie poster set, which you could also call the “On The Run” or the “Trust No One” set, is probably the most visually intriguing Deathly Hallows promo images I’ve seen yet.
This poster set gives off a real sense of action even though none of the posters (besides the final theatrical one sheet poster above I added to the set) actually show movement. It’s also worth noting only one poster features Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), which shows how much of an ensemble these films have become. I've heard some negative reviews of the film from the overnight reviews, but I'm hoping that isn't the general consensus. Here's hoping everyone enjoys The Deathly Hallows: Part I this weekend!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I premieres in theaters today, November 19th.
