Sweet Relish Custom 8 Inch Dunny by Sket One

Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 1st, Sket-One will be releasing his third (of four?) hand made custom 8” Condiment Bottle Dunnys based on his figures in Dunny Series 2010, the Sweet Relish Dunny! Only ten of these awesome custom vinyl figures have been produced and the quality on these is top notch! I can’t wait to see pics from the lucky collector who’s snagged all three of these 8” customs (Sketchup, Mustard and now Sweet Relish).

The custom Sweet Relish 8” Dunny by Sket-One includes a functioning bottle cap, a custom Heinz sweet relish inspired label, a 3.5”x3.5” custom header card, a miniature 2.25oz glass bottle with custom label (and real sweet relish inside) and a wrought iron condiment caddy to display everything. This set of 10 custom figures goes on sale December 1st at 1pm EST exclusively at Sket-One’s online store.

Twin Peaks Laura Palmer Wrapped In Plastic 100% Be@rbrick

As soon as The Blot heard there would be a Twin Peaks figure in Medicom’s Be@rbrick Series 21 I frantically started searching the web for more information. I’ve loved Twin Peaks ever since the David Lynch drama first aired on television back in 1991 and watch my Twin Peaks DVDs all the time. As an 11 year old kid Twin Peaks captivated me in a way I didn’t know television could. It scared, confused and excited me all at the same time, and I loved every minute of it! Even though the show lasted only 2 seasons it revolutionized serialized TV, and now the show’s central mystery (“Who Killed Laura Palmer?”), has been immortalized as a vinyl figure.

The Twin Peaks Laura Palmer 100% Be@rbrick depicts Laura’s look after she was found dead, wrapped in plastic, on the bank of a river in the show's pilot episode. The only way Medicom could have made this figure any better is if it actually came wrapped in a replica clear plastic tarp. There has been no word yet on Series 21’s mystery chase figures, but I’m holding out hope one of them will be Twin Peaks related!

Handstyle Pink 5 Inch Custom Mad’ls by MAD

Last night MAD unexpectedly released a second set of custom Handstyle 5” Mad’ls! Ten customs were created in all, with each blank 5” pink Mad’l featuring a different hand drawn doodle in black Sharpie. Unlike MAD’s first set of Handstyle 5" PGID Mad’ls, these figures do not glow in the dark. The Blot assumes these blank figures were originally factory samples for the recently released Bacon Mad’l by Sket-One.

Blank 5” Mad’ls are rarely, if ever, sold to the general public, so to be able to buy one with a custom doodle on it by MAD for just $35 is a freaking steal! Unfortunately these figures sold out almost immediately upon release at www.madtoystore.com.
