Happy Panda Toys x Project Detonate Poison Sweet Vinyl Figures

Happy Panda Toys recently released its very first designer toy! Designed by artist Project Detonate, the Poison Sweet vinyl figure stands almost 6" tall and comes with a cupcake accessory in a full color display box. The Blot’s a cupcake fiend, so you know this vinyl figure is right up my alley. Besides the colorful Standard Edition Poison Sweet figure, Happy Panda Toys has also released the black and white Mono Edition Poison Sweet, the figure’s second and last colorway.

The Poison Sweet vinyl figure by Project Detonate has a limited edition run size of 500 pieces and retails for $60, while the Mono Edition Poison Sweet has a limited edition run size of 250 pieces and retails for $65. Brightest Day Action Figures Series 3

Brightest Day, the bi-weekly DC Comics' follow up to Blackest Night, continues as the mystery behind the white light that resurrected twelve heroes and villains begins to unravel. Though the exact reasons for their rebirths remain a mystery, each is destined to play an intricate role in the future of the DC Universe. DC Direct’s Brightest Day Series 3 features DC’s newest hero Aqualad and the recently resurrected Jade, Hawk and Dove.

The Blot is all kinds of excited to finally get some quality action figures of two of my favorite DC characters, Hawk and Dove! But, for some reason something looks really off about the Hawk figure, is it that his head is too big? Hopefully this is a work in progress photo and the final product a more cohesive action figure.

Each Brightest Day action figure stands at 6.5-6.75" tall, features multiple points of articulation, includes a display base and comes packaged in a 4-color clamshell blister card. Brightest Day Series 3 is scheduled to go on sale August 3, 2011.
