Threadless Care Bear T-Shirt “The Curse of the Care Were!”

Threadless released a Care Bears inspired t-shirt I just had to blog about. For obvious reasons, The Blot wasn’t a huge Care Bears fan as a little kid. But I’m really digging "The Curse of the Care Were!" I mean who wouldn’t want to wear a t-shirt with a pink Care Were on it!?! This definitely ain’t your parents’ Tenderheart Bear. My only question is, since the creature in this design is a Care Werewolf does that make it a Care Bear Cousin and not a true Care Bear? Things that make you go hmmm…

The Green Hornet One Sheet Movie Poster

Lukewarm reviews for The Green Hornet are already starting to stream in, but I’m hoping these critics are not Michel Gondry fans. Could be, right? The Green Hornet is actually faring pretty well on Rotten Tomatoes (so far), where after 6 reviews the film has a fresh rating of 83%. Here’s hoping that score holds up! While the film may just be ok, The Green Hornet one sheet movie poster above is actually pretty cool. The poster features Seth Rogen as the Green Hornet and Jay Chou as Kato standing in front of the Hornet’s car, the “Black Beauty.”

The Green Hornet will premiere in theaters this Friday, January 14, 2011.

Midnight Pocket Mummy Gator & Moonlight Pocket Mummy Boy by Super7

A new year can only mean one thing, new toys! Super7 has cooked up a couple of cool creations to help warm up the cold, dark winter: the Midnight Pocket Mummy Gator and Moonlight Pocket Mummy Boy! The Midnight Pocket Mummy Gator lurks in the murky swamp, poking his eyes above water in the middle of the night, cast in translucent purple vinyl with black and light blue sprays, while the Moonlight Mummy Boy continues to wander endlessly topside, happily searching for his missing arm by moonlight. He is cast in Blue Glow-in-the-Dark vinyl with purple and soft-white sprays.

Both of these creatures of the night will go on sale this Saturday, January 15th, at 11am PST at the Super7 online store for $25 each.
