Obi-Wan Kenobi Mystery Chase Star Wars Vinylmation Series 1 Figures
Now that Star Wars Vinylmation Series 1 has been released, Disney has unveiled it included not one but two mystery chase figures in its Star Wars blind box series. The standard mystery chase figure is Obi-Wan Kenobi, but since you’re guaranteed one Obi-Wan figure in each case, he’s really not all that rare. What’s really cool is Disney also produced an Obi-Wan Kenobi Force Ghost variant figure which they’re calling the Super Chase figure.
This translucent blue vinyl figure recreates Obi-Wan’s look at the end of Return of the Jedi when he, Yoda and Anakin Skywalker reappear from the dead in ghost form. Good luck getting your hands one on of these super rare figures though, they’re already selling for over $300 on eBay (making this one of the rarest Vinylmation figures of all time).

X-Men: First Class Teaser Movie Poster
Is every single comic book movie coming out this summer or what? I didn’t realize X-Men: First Class by Matthew Vaughn was also coming out this summer along with Green Lantern, Thor and Captain America. I don’t know how I feel about First Class, but I like Vaughn and he’s assembled quite the cast. The cast includes James McAvoy as Professor Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, January Jones as Emma Frost, Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw and Rose Byrne as Dr. Moira MacTaggert.
From what I’ve read the movie will also feature characters such as Havok, Mystique, Beast, Darwin and Banshee, but no Cyclops? That’s more than a little surprising. What I really want to know is how well will an X-Men movie be received without costumes or the actual X-Men most of mainstream America knows and loves? Here’s hoping there’s at least the formation of the first class of X-Men, like the title read.
I’ve got a feeling Sony will be putting all of its marketing power behind this film, so we should be getting some awesome posters, banners and trailers for X-Men: First Class. Until we know more, enjoy the first teaser one sheet movie poster for the film. X-Men: First Class is scheduled to premiere in theaters everywhere on June 3, 2011.

"Walter Bishop Is My Homeboy" Fringe T-Shirt by Enclothe
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an awesome “Jesus Is My Homeboy” spoof, but leave it to Enclothe to bring the funny with their new “Walter Is My Homeboy” t-shirt. Featuring everyone’s favorite Fringe scientist, Walter Bishop, “Walter Is My Homeboy” is almost as good as Enclothe’s first Homeboy tee, “Baltar Is My Homeboy,” which featured Battlestar Galactica’s Gaius Baltar. Personally, I like the BSG shirt more, but how can you not want a cool Fringe t-shirt featuring Dr. Bishop holding a melting ice cream cone and a brain!?!
The limited edition “Walter Is My Homeboy” t-shirt from Enclothe is a black tee with light gray print and comes in sizes S-XXL. You can purchase one of these awesome shirts, while supplies last, here for $21.

Obey Giant "2nd Amendment Solutions" Screen Print by Shepard Fairey
The first Obey Giant screen print of 2011 comes out today and its entitled “2nd Amendment Solutions.” As you can imagine, it’s about gun control, and believe it or not, Shepard actually began this print before the nation was rattled by the recent shootings in Arizona. The quote at the bottom of the print reads: It’s not the bullet with my name on it that worries me. It’s the one that says “To Whom It May Concern.”
“2nd Amendment Solutions” by Shepard Fairey is an 18”x24” signed and numbered screen print and has a limited edition run size of 450 prints. You can purchase one via the Obey Giant online store at a random time today, Friday, January 21st.
