First Look: Pop! Marvel Bobble Head Vinyl Figures by Funko

Toy Fair 2011 just took place in New York City and there is tons of exciting toy news hitting the internet. At the top of that list is Funko’s upcoming line of Pop! Marvel Bobble Head Vinyl Figures. The Blot was a little bummed to learn the long rumored Pop! Marvel figures would be bobble heads, but at least they don’t have stands like the previously announced Pop! Star Wars Bobble Head Vinyl Figures.

So far all we know about this new line of toys is the first two figures released will be Thor movie versions of Thor and Loki. After that you can expect the usual Marvel heroes to be released, including Captain America, Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk. The Blot will be sure to post more details about Funko’s upcoming Pop! Marvel line as soon as they become available.

“Fur Sure” Burgerbuns Resin Figure by Le Merde

How cool is this, first Pony Falcone and now Burgerbuns!?! Le Merde is systematically revisiting some of his most popular characters in their original resin forms. The Blot honestly did not expect a new resin Burgerbuns anytime soon, especially once Super7 unveiled their 6” vinyl Burgerbuns, but I sure am glad Le Merde has surprised us all!

The “Fur Sure” Burgerbuns resin figure by Le Merde goes on sale this Friday, February 18th, at the Le Merde online store at 11am PST.

Chocolate Brown Painted Real Fighting Greasebat by Jeff Lamm

It may be too late to win over a loved one, but this release will include a screen printed Valentine’s Day Card with all new artwork from Jeff Lamm. The third painted Greasebat (and fifth colorway in all) will be released later this week and it’s a beauty! The Real Fighting Greasebat was one of The Blot’s favorite new figures of 2010 and this Chocolate Brown Colorway is definitely my favorite painted version released so far. Plus, what goes better with Valentine’s Day than chocolate!?!

The Painted Greasebat #3 was cast in a chocolaty brown vinyl and features a tan face, crème eyes, metallic gold horns and gold accent sprays. This delicious vinyl figure goes on sale this Friday, February 18, at 6pm EST at the Monster Worship online store.
