Wonder Woman, The Flash, Batman & The Joker DC Universe 6" Mez-Itz Vinyl Figures

After all the news of Mezco Toyz’ new line of 2” DC Universe Mini Mez-Itz 2-packs, The Blot was a little concerned Mezco's line of 6” DCU Mez-Itz vinyl figures would fall by the wayside. Thankfully, we learned at Toy Fair 2011 that Mezco would be going full steam ahead with both lines of vinyl figures!

Mezco Toyz had some never before seen 6” DC Universe vinyl figures on display at Toy Fair, including Wonder Woman, The Flash, a black and gray Batman with fabric cape, and a blue and gray Batman with The Joker. Hopefully more DC Comics heroes and villains will be getting the 6 inch Mez-Itz treatment sometime soon (including a cute and chunky Martian Manhunter).

The blue and gray Batman/Joker 2-pack will be released sometime in November 2011, but no release date is currently known for the three other DC Universe Mez-Itz vinyl figures above.  Each will probably retail for around $12 or $24 as a 2 figure set (if a villain is included).

Kaws x BAPE Dissected Milo Vinyl Figure

The Dissected Milo vinyl figure features Kaws’ signature design on Japanese clothing company A Bathing Ape’s iconic mascot. The Blot’s not sure what to think about this cute little dissected ape. On the one hand, I really dig this collaboration by Original Fake and BAPE. I mean what figure doesn’t look great dissected by Kaws? But the 8” figure’s $265 price tag is just ridiculous. For that much money the Kaws x BAPE Dissected Milo vinyl figures better be super limited (which it’s probably not) or include some really cool extras (which I’m sure it won’t).

The Kaws x BAPE Dissected Milo vinyl figure will come in three unique colorways (black, brown and gray), retail for $265 each and go on sale later on this month (February 2011). You can currently pre-order all three colorways from ToyQube here.

Public Enemy Pop! Rock Vinyl Figures

Funko is already working on its third wave of Pop! Rock vinyl figures and we now know Wave 3 will include cute little chunky versions of hip-hop legends Public Enemy. Unveiled for the first time last week at Toy Fair 2011, check out Funko’s POP! version of Flavor Flav and Chuck D. The Blot can’t believe it’s been 25 years since Public Enemy first debuted and changed music forever with their politically charged lyrics. What’s even more shocking is the fact that Chuck D and Flavor Flav are still relevant in the world of pop culture even after all this time.
