X-Men: First Class Character Movie Posters

Sony released the first two character one sheet movie posters for this summer’s X-Men: First Class and The Blot is seriously underwhelmed. This film has had some seriously top notch marketing so far, and then comes these two train wrecks. If there’s one thing I hate, it’s bad photoshopping on a movie poster. What’s even worse is they ruined a perfectly good idea: juxtaposing the 60’s versions of Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr with their future selves (Professor X and Magneto) as reflections in the water. Here’s hoping the next batch of X-Men: First Class character movie posters are better than these!

X-Men: First Class is directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars James McAvoy as Charles Xavier and Michael Fassbender as Magneto.

Tiny Lout & Tiny Treature Resin Figures by Motorbot

Yesterday, Motorbot officially launched his new line of 2” mini resin figures and they look awesome. First up are tiny versions of Motorbot’s trademark creations, the Lout and the Treature. LOST James “Sawyer” Ford & Juliet Burke 8" Mego Style Action Figures

The Blot’s been putting off blogging about Series 3 of Bif Bang Pow!’s line of mego-style 8” LOST action figures for a while now. Why you might ask? Because I’ve been waiting for final pictures of the new figures’ head sculpts. Series 1 and 2 turned out so poorly I wanted to see how Big Bang Pow! corrected things, and it looks like not all that well. It’s such a disappointment too, because their LOST bobble heads are awesome and the idea of LOST Mego style figures had me really excited.

The first LOST Series 3 set includes Dharma Security James “Sawyer” Ford and 1970’s Juliet Burke. These two figures are scheduled to come out in July 2011, but I’ve been told if presales aren’t stronger Series 3 may not go into production.
