Yesterday, Lulubell Toy Bodega released on its Facebook page a second teaser image of its upcoming collaboration with Skinner and Shikaruna. The shadowy image looks like some sort of bat like creature with a daemon head, but your guess is definitely as good as The Blot’s. All I know is whatever has emerged from Skinner’s imagination is going to be nuts! And I can’t wait to see what kind of paint application Skinner has decide to use on his first foray into kaiju. As always, more details to come as they become available.

Samurai Hick-san Custom Vinyl Figure by Huck Gee
Samurai Hick-san, the Collector, the hunter, the horn taker, the ivory assassin. Renowned from coast to coast, legend states that Samurai Hick-san stains his armor in the blood of the vanquished and that he was once a powerful general that played a pivotal role in The Three Wars. Feared by many an enemy for riding into battle on a massive armored rhino mount, now he is just plain feared. HORN CORE to the very bone!
This Gold Life custom vinyl figure by Huck Gee stands 9" tall to the top of his horn and looks phenomenal! This might be The Blot’s new favorite custom figure in Huck's Gold Life series. I love all the little touches Huck added to Samurai Hick-san, including the eye patch, the backpack full of rhino horns and of course, the cute little bird on Hick-san’s hat.
Each signed and numbered figure comes and dressed in a black kimono and blood red armor, and includes all of the accessories seen above. Only 10 Samurai Hick-san figures were produced, and each one retails for $850. This set will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. SO any interested collectors should email Huck at sales@huckgee.com ASAP to reserve your figure!

Obey Giant “SD Billboard” Screen Print by Shepard Fairey
Obey Giant will be releasing the fifth screen print in Shepard Fairey’s new “Art In The Streets” series later today, and it’s entitled “SD Billboard.” There seems to be a new print coming every week now, but that isn’t slowing down the rate they sell out. If anything, demand is actually increasing! The image above features one of Fairey’s favorite street spots for graffiti, in this instance a billboard in San Diego.
“SD Billboard” by Shepard Fairey is an 18”x24″ screen print, comes signed and numbered by the artist, and has a limited edition run size of 450 pieces. This is the fifth Obey Giant print from the “Art In The Streets” art show, and will retail for $45 each. The print goes sale at a random time (between 10am and 12noon PDT) today, Thursday, April 14th, at the Obey Giant online store.
