Threadless Back to the Future x Indiana Jones T-Shirt "Been There..."

The title of this post really sums up why The Blot loves this new design from Threadless. It combines two of my favorite franchises, Back to the Future and Indiana Jones, into one seamless design! “Been There...” depicts Indiana Jones deciphering some ancient hieroglyphics featuring none other than Marty McFly, Doc Brown and their infamous DeLorean. This is one t-shirt that will definitely spark some fond memories in any child of the ‘80s!

Custom Rose Vampire by Motorbot

Check out this killer new custom Rose Vampire by Motorbot! The Blot’s actually had this photo sitting on my computer for a couple of weeks now, but I wanted to wait to blog about it until I saw this amazing custom in person. It’s actually the first custom The Blot ever commissioned, and Motorbot absolutely killed it! I know I say this a lot, but the photo really doesn’t do the colors of this figure justice. It actually has a purple head that through some crazy process, which even Motorbot can’t exactly explain, now looks weathered and rusted. If you are ever looking to commission a custom figure, you should definitely hit up this fellow Texan!

Speaking of Motorbot, this month also marks the 1 year anniversary of his Deadbear Studios! In honor of his first year of making resin figures, Motorbot will be randomly releasing unpainted versions of his most popular creations. So keep your eyes peeled at the Deadbear online store throughout the month of May for some truly limited edition releases (and some all new stickers). Congrats MB!

At the stroke of midnight the summer 2011 movie season will begin as people around North America storm their local theaters to see Marvel’s newest live action movie, Thor. The film has been getting rave reviews across the board, which is pretty rare for the superhero genre, making The Blot even more excited to see Thor this weekend. They’ll be releasing an all new Thor movie screen print by Ken Taylor at a random time today in honor of the blockbuster film’s US premiere.
