DC Universe Batman & The Joker 6” Mez-Itz Vinyl Figure Set

For Mezco’s third DC Universe 6” Mez-Itz release, the toy company returns to a sure thing: Batman and The Joker. If these figures look familiar, it’s because Mezco’s first DCU 6” release was also Batman and The Joker (which gives The Blot some serious misgivings). While I can understand Mezco wanting to release a second Batman figure with a wider release, do we really need new versions of Batman and the Joker so soon after their first release last summer?

Not only that, but the SDCC Exclusive Batman and Joker figures are still available for retail through numerous online retailers. However, I know a lot of people prefer this black and grey version of Batman, and personally I like this version of the Joker better than the SDCC version. So I guess it all works out in the end.

Each 6 inch Mez-Itz vinyl figure is made of rotocast plastic, features five points of articulation and comes individually packaged in a collector friendly double sided window box that allows you to see both the front and back of the figure. The Batman and Joker Mez-Itz Set is currently available for pre-order through Entertainment Earth here for $23.99. It is expected to start shipping in November 2011.

Fur Face Boy Series 5 T-Shirt Collection

After weeks of teasing, Ha has finally reveled his all new collection of Fur Face Boy t-shirts! Series 5 will be released online on Monday, May 16th, and includes 6 all new designs. The Blot’s favorite new design is the retro “FFB A.B.A.”, which pays homage to the 70’s heyday of the American Basketball Association, but I think it’s safe to say there’s definitely a little something for everyone in this release.

Like in all of Ha’s FFB series, the original Fur Face Boy logo is back in two new designs. There’s the spring/summer time plaid FFB logo and the Tufur FFB logo, insired by one of Ha’s favorite poets, Tupac Shakur. Then there’s the Iron Maiden inspired “Fur Face Maiden” t-shirt, the Snoopy/Joe Cool inspired “Cool Bear Mai” and another of my person favorites, the Krylon inspired “FFB Spray Can” t-shirt.

And there you have it, Fur Face Boy Series 5! Ha seriously killed it with this Series, and there are definitely a few “must gets” in this collection for The Blot. Electric Lemon M 5 Bravo & Stee-Gar Vinyl Figures by Jeff Lamm

Jeff Lamm announced yesterday that his two new figures, M 5 Bravo and Stee-Gar, will be released for the first time this Saturday, May 14th, at unboxindustries.info. Is this OG Colorway awesome or what? These Electric Lemon yellow figures with greenish blue spray really pop, and the sculpt looks incredibly detailed! But what makes these new figures really cool are their interchangeable parts. You can mix and match each figure’s head, torso and waist to create a truly unstoppable monster!

This OG Electric Lemon Colorway Stee-Gar and M 5 Bravo will only be sold online exclusively by their producer, Together Plus/Unbox Industries for $125 (which includes international postage).
