Captain America: The First Avenger Movie Poster by Paolo Rivera

Check out this awesome retro cast and crew exclusive one sheet movie poster for Captain America: The First Avenger! As Marvel.com explained, “the lucky cast and crew members who worked on Captain America: The First Avenger got a special treat for their work on the film, namely an exclusive poster created by Paolo Rivera, artist of Mythos: Captain America and and the upcoming Daredevil! Done in a retro 1940s style, Rivera captures Captain America in action in this dynamic composition.” Pretty cool huh!?! The Blot’s a little bummed this limited edition one sheet is not available to the public, but at least Marvel shared it with the world.

Captain America: The First Avenger is scheduled to invade theaters on Friday, July 22, 2011.

Threadless Doctor Who T-Shirt TARDamask

It has been a long time since The Blot voted on a Threadless design, but when I saw this Doctor Who inspired t-shirt I knew it had to be made! Entitled “TARDamask,” the design is inspired by the classic damask repeating pattern but with a Doctor Who TARDIS influenced twist. While I love the shirt, I do wish Threadless had printed the TARDIS images in a darker blue matching its look in the hit television show. Here’s hoping Threadless eventually reprints this design as a badass hoodie!
