San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Green Hermees Vinyl Figure by Gary Ham

The third colorway of Gary Ham’s self produced vinyl figure Hermees has been unveiled and this green and white version is a San Diego Comic-Con 2011 exclusive. Color The Blot green with envy!!! The SDCC Exclusive Green Hermees has a limited edition run size of 50 figures, and will retail for $55 each. Stop by Gary Ham and Scott Tolleson’s SDCC booth #4836 to say hello and take this little fellow home with you. Gary will be in attendance all 5 days of the world’s premiere pop culture convention and will be on-hand to sign, doodle, whatever.

Hermees is a trickster and international traveler. He's developed quite the reputation and depending on where his journey's take him, he could bring luck, happiness, longevity, disease, or even . . .DEATH. Hermees is an 8" vinyl toy with a 12" wingspan and 8 points of articulation in the head, snout, wings, hands, and feet. Each figure comes housed in a nicely designed window packaging.

SDCC 2011 Exclusive Queen Marlena & Cringer MOTU Action Figures

San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Queen Marlena & Cringer Masters of the Universe Action Figures

This year’s Masters of the Universe San Diego Comic-Con exclusive is none other than Queen Marlena, the Heroic Queen of Eternia, with Cringer, Prince Adam’s loyal scaredy cat (and the secret identity of Battle Cat). It’s about time the good queen of Eternia was released as a 6” action figure, and now MOTU collectors can complete the Eternos Royal Family. Queen Marlena isn't arriving empty handed either, she also includes her royal green dress, scepter and sword, plus an interchangeable space helmet head, rifle and blaster pistol to transform her back into her fighting days as Captain Glenn, Heroic Galactic Adventurer!

San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Queen Marlena Masters of the Universe Action Figure Packaging & Captain Glenn, Heroic Galactic Adventurer Action Figure

The San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Queen Marlena Masters of the Universe Action Figure will retail for $25 each and can be purchased at the Mattel SDCC booth. What’s weird about this action figure is that it will be available at Comic-Con as Queen Marlena, the Heroic Queen of Eternia, but will then be available packaged as Captain Glenn, Heroic Galactic Adventurer, at Mattycollector.com beginning on August 1st. Each version of the figure’s packaging comes with all of the parts you need for both figures, but each includes a unique bio specific to how it is packaged.

Star Trek “Let That Be Your Last Battlefield” Screen Print by Tom Whalen

Star Trek “Let That Be Your Last Battlefield” Screen Print by Tom Whalen

Mondo is finally releasing a new poster in its acclaimed Star Trek Screen Print Series, and it’s by one of my favorite artists, Tom Whalen!!! “Let That Be Your Last Battlefield” takes its name from the fourteenth episode of the third season of Star Trek: The Original Series, which features the television debut of Bele, the half black and half white alien played by Frank Gorshin. Following in Bele’s yin/yang look, “Let That Be Your Last Battlefield” is actually a reversible print so you can frame it however you want. Black on the left and white on the right or vice versa! Just depends on how you want to do it.

“Let That Be Your Last Battlefield” by Tom Whalen is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print with a limited edition run size of 215 pieces. This Star Trek print will retail for $40 each and goes on sale at a random time today, Friday, July 15th, at the Mondo online store.
