Jason Freeny 36” Tongue Tied Qee

The second figure in Toy2R’s upcoming 36" Artist Qee Collection was unveiled yesterday, and it looks like a really fun design. With that being said, here is the first reveal of Jason Freeny’s Tongue Tied Qee in XL scale. Limited to only 36 pieces worldwide, this unique and oversized Qee depicts Jason's artistic nature with humor and style. The Blot was secretly hoping for a 3 foot tall version of Freeny’s Visible Qee (how bad ass would that be!?!), but this design is still pretty cool in its own right. And a 3’ Visible Qee by Freeny would probably retail for even more than this figure’s $2,800 price tag.

Ornery Panda Shinsengumi Custom 8” Dunny by Huck Gee

To commemorate the news of his new Kidrobot Gold Life 3” Dunny Series, Huck Gee has released his latest Gold Life custom 8” Dunny, Ornery Panda Shinsengumi! At one time renowned as a talented sword master, Shinsengumi was an early member of the elite, albeit troubled, peace keeping squad. Dodging several assassination attempts and losing many close ones to the deadly political turmoil of the capital, his troubled soul eventually got the better of him. Losing himself in drink, Shinsengumi became most well known as a gambler, a womanizer, and a drunk. Short on words, the golden sheen of his eyes found blurred by sake more often than not, this is Abiru: Ornery Panda Shinsengumi.

Each Ornery Panda Shinsengumi custom 8” Dunny by Huck Gee comes signed, numbered and includes all of the accessories seen above. Ten Shinsengumi custom figures were created, each retailing for $750. The Blot knew there was something in the works when I saw Kidrobot released a Gold Life Ornery Panda Shinsengumi t-shirt by Huck Gee as part of its Fall Collection. They’ve become really good at spoilering their own toy releases through their clothing line. Well thanks to Vinyl Pulse we now know Kidrobot will be releasing an entire series of Huck Gee’s Gold Life characters as 3” Dunnys!
