The 3 inch Gold Life Dunny Series includes 14 characters, including Tarzo the Unknown Rifleman and a mystery chase. Each figure comes equipped with an appropriate, but often lethal accessory. Set to be released on September 1st, each blind box will retail for $9.95.

The Avengers First Look: Chris Evans as “Modern” Captain America

Thanks to MTV we now have our very first look at Chris Evans as Captain America in what is sure to be one of next summer’s biggest hits, The Avengers! While we’ve obviously all seen Evans as Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger, this is our first look at Cap in his modern day uniform. It’s pretty much a spitting image of Captain America’s look in the Ultimate Marvel Universe, and while The Blot prefers his traditional look in the Marvel Universe it’s definitely an improvement on his WWII uniform. I can't wait to see more stills from the set of The Avengers!

The Avengers is scheduled to premiere in theaters on Friday, May 4, 2012.

Curse of the Mutants Marvel Minimates Box Set

Based on the X-Men crossover “Curse of the Mutants” comes this storyline accurate Marvel Minimates box set from Diamond Select Toys. This specialty market exclusive box set features four of the main players in the “Curse of the Mutants” storyline: Blade, Dracula, Wolverine and Jubilee. The Blot’s a sucker for all things Jubilee, so I am pretty excited to see a new Jubilation Lee action figure even if it features her new vampire look.

Each Minimate stands 2.5" tall with 14 points of articulation and a variety of removable and interchangeable parts and accessories. The Curse of the Mutants Minimates box will retail for around $18 and comes packaged in a window box.
