Threadless “Pop Culture” Soda Can T-Shirt

This newest pop culture inspired design by Threadless definitely puts the “pop” in soda pop! As you can tell, "Pop Culture" takes the minimalistic design craze that is sweeping the nation and applies it to coke cans (or beer cans depending on your preference). Each minimalistic designed can represents a key figure in pop culture. I would have liked this t-shirt a whole lot more if I hadn’t seen a million different versions of it over the past 6 months, but that’s also probably why the shirt got printed in the first place. They’re all fairly easy to identify, except maybe the first two. Although once you read who they are you’ll see it right away.

Ornery & Bloodshot Panda Shinsengumi Custom 8” Dunny by Huck Gee

Ornery & Bloodshot Panda Shinsengumi Custom 8” Dunny by Huck Gee

There was such an incredible response to last week’s response of the OG Ornery Panda Shinsengumi Custom 8” Dunny and Huck Gee had to turn away so many people in the process, that Huck decided to offer an alternate version, the Ornery & Bloodshot Panda Shinsengumi! This custom is awesome, and I have to assume the popularity of Shinsengumi has to have something to do with Huck’s recently announced Gold Life 3” Dunny blind box series from Kidrobot. Again limited to 10 figures, Ornery & Bloodshot Panda Shinsengumi comes with all of the same accessories as the original colorway, plus a sake bottle of "courage" and those telltale bloodshot eyes.

Ornery & Bloodshot Panda Shinsengumi Custom 8” Dunny by Huck Gee

At one time renowned as a talented sword master, Shinsengumi was an early member of the elite, albeit troubled, peace keeping squad. Dodging several assassination attempts and losing many close ones to the deadly political turmoil of the capital, his troubled soul eventually got the better of him. Losing himself in drink, Shinsengumi became most well known as a gambler, a womanizer, and a drunk. Short on words, the golden sheen of his eyes found blurred by sake more often than not, this is Abiru: Ornery Panda Shinsengumi.

Each Shinsengumi custom figure comes signed and numbered by the artist, and retails for $750. Anyone interested in these amazing customs should email sales@huckgee.com ASAP to reserve your figure and make payment arrangements.
