After making two different unpainted colorways of its new Ugly Unicorn sofubi vinyl figure available for pre-order, Rampage Toys (a.k.a. Jon Malmstedt) is bringing the heat with two Superfestival 57 exclusive painted versions of its brand new figure. On the left is the "Allsorts Liquorice Ugly", which features black vinyl and has a limited edition run size of 5 pieces, and on the right is the "Poppy Goji Ugly", which features red vinyl and has a limited edition run size of 7 pieces. The “Poppy Goji Ugly” was inspired a 60's vintage Poppy Goji Jon saw in Aomori. Although most of us won’t have an opportunity to pick up one of these “ugly” Japanese vinyl figures at Superfestival 57, fear not! Jon is already working on some painted colorways for New York Comic-Con 2011. As always, more details to come!

Full Metal Jacket Leroy C. & S7 GID Pocket Invisiboy
Summer may be over but Super7 is just starting to enjoy the sunshine in San Francisco! While most dread the end of summer and a return to school, Leroy C. is more than happy as he looks forward to stomping around the playground during recess. Full Metal Jacket Leroy C. by Invisible Creature is cast in Pearl Grey vinyl highlighted by bronze and grey sprays and will retail for $35 each.
As much as he wants to disappear, Pocket Invisiboy will have a hard time hiding when cast in glow in the dark vinyl! Super7’s pocket sized mascot in an ascot is back in Super7’s traditional GID colors (cast in Glow vinyl with red and blue sprays). This is one colorway that is sure to spark excitement in Super7 collectors, especially at its $25 price. Leroy C. and Pocket Invisiboy go on sale this Friday, September 16th, at noon Pacific at the Super7 online store.

Jon-Paul Kaiser 36” Zombie Pirate Olaf the Mute Qee
Following in the footsteps of the Maori Warrior 36” Qee comes Jon-Paul Kaiser’s Zombie Pirate Olaf the Mute 36” Qee! It’s rare for a release to catch The Blot completely by surprise, but this one certainly did. Especially since Toy2R already announced one 36" Artist Qee by JPK last week. The fifth design in Toy2R’s 36” XL Scale Artist Qee Collection has a limited edition run size of just 36 pieces and will retail for $2,800.
The gargantuan crewmember of the Whispering Corsair, prized for his great strength and unwavering loyalty to Captain StÅ«rnbrau, was discovered upon a rocky island, blanketed in thick mists. Protecting his adopted home, Olaf attacked the crew with his bare hands. Despite being well armed with cutlass & musket, many of the Corsair’s crew were rendered in twain by the enraged assailant until the dark captain strode fearlessly up to Olaf and offered him passage on his ship. Olaf accepted and has proved his worth in many a skirmish; always at the head of the charge into battle, no matter the odds.
