NYCC 2011 Exclusive Pajama Pants Ugly Unicorn Custom Figure by Rampage Toys

Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys has been working non-stop painting one offs of his new Ugly Unicorn made of Japanese soft vinyl. Besides the two New York Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive mini-runs he created for Tenacious Toys and Lulubell Toy Bodega, he also created this 1 of a kind “Pajama Pants” Ugly Unicorn custom figure. The Pajama Pants custom features a flesh colored vinyl top with blue and pink spray, paired with a yellow vinyl bottom with red spray. The Blot doesn’t know what Jon did to this figure’s hair (it looks dry painted), but I’m really digging the effect.

This 1 off "Pajama Pants" Ugly Unicorn custom vinyl figure by Rampage Toys will be sold exclusively at New York Comic-Con at the Tenacious Toys NYCC booth #876. ESC Toy's NYCC 2011 Exclusives

When The Blot got ESC Toy’s latest newsletter I was blown away, to say the least. Erick Scarecrow has been crazy busy these past few months compiling an impressive list of New York Comic-Con 2011 Exclusives. ESC Toy will have over 9 different throughout NYCC, so you might as well just plan on camping out at their booth (#781) throughout the long weekend.

Crow Crow Bear Copper by Erick Scarecrow

The third colorway in the Crow Crow Bear collection will be the Copper colorway. This figure has a combination of metallic paints (copper, gold, silver and metal) with a striking mint on the eyes. The 6.5" hand-painted resin figure comes signed and numbered by artist, packed in an ESC box and will retail for $69.99 The Copper Edition Crow Crow Bear has a limited edition run size of 30 pieces and will go on sale October 13th at 4pm EST.

"I Think You're Soopa!" by Steff Bomb

This year ESC Toy join forces again with plush stuffing champion Steff Bomb on the “I Think You’re Soopa” plush figure! This 9" plush figure will be available on October 15th at 3PM EST during artist Steff Bomb's signing at ESC’s NYCC booth #781. This handmade plush will come poly-bagged, has a limited edition run size of only 15 pieces and will retail for $44.99.

Little Axe Ginger Green by Erick Scarecrow

Little Axe returns in the new head lopping "Ginger Green" colorway. This is the 5th colorway in the Little Axe collection and is limited to only 15 pieces. This 6” hand-painted resin figure comes dipped in metallic green paint, comes signed and numbered by artist, and packaged in an ESC box. Little Axe Ginger Green will retail for $174.99 and will go on sale October 14th exclusively at the ESC online store.

Wet-Suit Maria Moon Jumper by Erick Scarecrow

The next colorway for the Wet-Suit Maria collection is the Moon Jumper. Limited to only 50 pieces, this 6" vinyl figures come packed in a window box with blister tray packaging. West-Suit Maria Moon Jumper retails for $39.99 and will go on sale at the ESC Toy NYCC booth #781 on October 13th at 4pm EST.

Turtum Micci Gang by Erick Scarecrow

New for this year is the Turtum Micci mini resin figure assortment. The first Turtum Micci wave includes 7 different Turtum colorways: OG-original, Crystal Chi, Wild Desert, Kagoo, Moonshell, Purplish Lurker and the Mystery colorway. Don't worry, this is NOT a blind box item. Just swing by the booth to discover what the Mystery Turtum is. Each 3.25" resin figure retails for $19.99, comes packaged in a reveal box and will go on sale starting October 13th at 4pm EST at the ESC Toy NYCC booth.

Yarn Shroom Poison Fang

This is the 2nd Yarn Schroom colorway after the Purple Yarn Shroom, which was available through the Skratch Scavenger Hunt. Limited to just 15 pieces, each hand-painted Yarn Schroom Poison Fang resin figure comes signed and numbered by artist, packaged in a reveal box and retails for $39.99. This 3.25" figure will go on sale exclusively at the ESC online store on October 14th.

Pinnola Warhol Resin Figure

Now for the main release! New for 2011 is Pinnola, Erick Scarecrow's twist on the classic Pinocchio fairy tale. The Blot loves Erick’s pink and white Warhol colorway, and it definitely looks killer on this new sculpt. Each 6.5" hand-painted Pinnola Warhol resin figure comes signed and numbered by artist, is packaged in an ESC box and retails for $124.99. This all new figure has a limited edition run size of 25 pieces, and does require some minor assembly. This release will be available starting October 13th at 4pm EST at the ESC Toy booth.

Super7 NYCC 2011 Releases: Rose Vampire DX, Foster, Taoking, Le Turd & Patty Power

Super7 is invading New York Comic-Con 2011 next week for the very first time and bringing with them some super exciting releases including a new Rose Vampire DX, Foster, Taoking, Le Turd (with a brand new body) and Patty Power! No word yet if these are true New York Comic-Con Exclusives or if the figures are just debuting at NYCC.

Halloween 2011 Trio Of Terror Rose Vampire DX

Don't let his dapper charm fool you, the Rose Vampire will steal your heart and never give it back. The Halloween 2011 Trio Of Terror Rose Vampire DX also includes a Black vinyl cape and retails for $65 each. An ice cream sandwich with a taste for the unexpected, Foster is just waiting for his next bite all the while trying to avoid becoming a victim to his own desires. Super7's Oatmeal Foster is cast in tan vinyl highlighted with light yellow, brown and white sprays, and will retail for $25 each.

Comic Version Yellow Taoking

Taoking, the signature Kaiju from Geof Darrow and Frank Miller's legendary comic Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot, has been reborn! The Comic Version of Geof Darrow's Taoking is cast in yellow vinyl with light yellow, brown and white sprays, and will retail for $95 each.

Peanuts “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” Screen Print by Tom Whalen

I don’t care what anybody says, it’s not truly Halloween season until you’ve watched the Peanuts classic 1966 animated film It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! I try to watch it every October and it’s always better than the last time I saw it. It’s somewhat perfect timing then that the Dark Hall Mansion would be releasing its first Peanuts poster, “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” by Tom Whalen, this month! Whalen has been on a tear lately, releasing amazing pop culture inspired prints every few weeks, and this is definitely another classic!

It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown by Tom Whalen is an 18”x24” 8 color screenprint .
