Crusty 3” Holiday Dunny by Frank Kozik

With a cigarette, carrot nose, two eyes made out of coal, and a LOT of yellow snow, Crusty Dunny is sure to get you smorkin’ for 2011’s holiday season. This 3 inch vinyl heathen is getting into the spirit with a top hat, carrot nose, booze bottle and cigarette. And, given the changes in the world, it is no wonder that this Dunny has a chase that is disappearing fast… a hapless victim of global warming!

There was a time The Blot would get really excited for Kidrobot’s 3” Holiday Dunny, but it’s starting to feel like this particular yearly release has run its course. I still enjoy seeing different artists’ take on classic holiday characters, but are there not enough winter and/or holiday themed characters to go around? We’ve already gotten two Santa Clause Holiday Dunnys and now our second Snowman Dunny. What’s on tap for next year, a new Gingerbread Dunny?

Crusty by Frank Kozik comes out to play tomorrow, November 3rd, at Kidrobot stores, Kidrobot.com and select retailers, and can be purchased for $11.95 per blind box. 1 in 6 has suffered at the hands of the CCC (Climate Change Conspiracy), with a vinyl puddle for a body and x’s for eyes.

DCon Exclusive Bloody Mictlan Resin Figure by Jesse Hernandez

Here’s one release The Blot was not expecting! Jesse Hernandez and Kuso Vinyl have teamed up to produce a killer set of resin Mictlans! The clear red Bloody Mictlan resin figure has a limited edition run size 25 pieces and goes on sale November 5th at Designer Con 2011. Pick one up at the Kuso Vinyl DCon booth #111 as soon as the doors open because these bloody red figures will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Even better still, Jesse will be on hand from 2-3pm for a very special signing.

Sucklord’s DCon 2011 Exclusives

Designer Con 2011 is just a few days away and the Sucklord has a whole day’s worth of releases scheduled for Saturday. The reality TV star is even holding a non-stop Suckathon at the Suckadelic DCon booth #308 where you can pick up a number of awesome exclusives. Two of my favorites are theDCon 2011 Dumny and the newest Scrubs of the Universe figure, the Carrator!

The DCon 2011 Exclusive Dumny resin figure has a limited edition run size of 9 pieces, and features a black body, pink splatter paint, a red cape and marbled gray, brown and black heads. Get there early though because only 6 Dumnys will be available at Designer Con. Another sure sell out is Carrator, the second resin figure in Sucklord’s new Scrubs of the Universe toy line. The Blot’s a huge fan of this Star Wars x Masters of the Universe mash-up, and who couldn’t use a little more carrot in their lives? Carrator is limited to just 16 pieces, with 10 figures available at Designer Con, and will retail for $150.
