Well, the second colorway of Kronk’s Yankee Pig Dog Labbit was released yesterday, and this version is just as poorly made as the first colorway. Why oh why does Kidrobot continue to release subpar product? Who knows, at least this time they acknowledge the “inconsistencies in production.” Is it really too much to ask for a well made $69 toy? The Blot doesn’t think so, but evidently Kidrobot does!

Flying straight out of South Africa comes Kronk’s Stealth Warfare Edition Yankee Pig Dog Labbit, here just in time to keep the skies safe and his butt hole in all the action. Stinking of freedom, this badass bulldog is 7 inches of vinyl and dons molded rivets, a flying cap and goggles, and jetpack. Paying homage to Labbit inventor Frank Kozik, Yankee Pig Dog sports a ‘stache worthy of the Red Baron.

The Blot is super excited about this release for a number of reasons, but first and foremost because Mutant Vinyl Hardcore’s latest Ollie colorway will be a made to order release!!! This means there is no set run size, and anyone that wants one can pre-order it this weekend. The Blot’s been dying to get his hands on one of LASH’s giant figures for the past year, but I have terrible luck with lotteries and didn’t have the funds for the last Ollie made to order colorway. Even better still this Ollie comes unpainted in crystal clear vinyl, one of The Blot’s personal favorites!

OG Pinnola Resin Figure by Erick Scarecrow

ESC Toy just keeps dropping amazing figures one after the other! Following the hugely successful drop of its now sold out NYCC Exclusive Warhol Pinnola comes the figure’s second colorway dubbed the “OG”. This “Original” hand painted Pinnola resin figure stands 6.5” tall, features yellow, pink and orange paint, and comes signed, numbered, and hand packaged by Erick Scarecrow. Star Trek: TNG “I, Borg” Screen Print by Jesse Philips

Mondo’s newest Star Trek Screen Print Series is based on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “I, Borg” and was designed by Jesse Philips. The print is a visual ode to the burgeoning individuality experienced by Third of Five/Hugh from the classic TNG episode "I, Borg". Jesse's unique style complements the nature of the episode, illustrating the connections Hugh has to the collective as well as the new relationships he develops while on board the Enterprise, which awaken the sense of identity suppressed by the collective. X-ray insets throughout the piece remind the viewer that there is flesh...a real heart at the center of the wires and machinery forced upon him by the Borg. The hard realization Picard eventually has to acknowledge at the end of the episode.

“I, Borg” by Jesse Philips is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print with a limited edition run size of 250 pieces. There is also a Metallic Variant Edition that has a run size of 80 pieces. The Standard Edition Star Trek: The Next Generation print will retail for $40 each, while the Metallic Variant Edition retails for $65. Both prints go on sale at a random time today, Friday, November 18th, at the Mondo online store.
