The Sucklord Wood Figure by Gary Ham

The Blot had the biggest fan boy moment when I stumbled upon Gary Ham’s amazing The Sucklord custom wood figure on eBay (seen here). Gary was motivated to create this “tribute to all things Suckadelic” by The Sucklord’s dismissal from Work of Art last week. The SUCKset, as Gary dubbed it, is a 100% handmade and hand painted wood toy of The Sucklord and includes everything seen here. What’s even cooler is all of the accessories are also handmade of wood.

The Sucklord Wood Figure stands 7" tall with 5 points of articulation, includes two interchangeable heads, and tons of Suckadelic accessories. With this set you get 1 Morgan Phillips head; 1 Sucklord head; 1 light saber; 1 beat box; 1 roll of Ass Wipe; 1 carrot; 1 photo of Sucklord’s girlfriend; 1 Work of Art NY Times challenge replica; 1 jar of urine; 1 Village Voice with Sucklord on the cover; 2 Suckpax; 1 bong; 1 bootleg Gay Stormtrooper; and 1 cape. Does this figure have it all or what!?!

Two SUCKsets were created, but only one is being sold to the public via an eBay auction that started yesterday and will be running for one full week. As Gary explained, “in true Sucklordian fashion, this piece is available to whomever wants it the most.” The SUCKset auction started at an incredibly modest $50 starting price, however in only a matter of hours it has quickly rose to over $500. Where this amazing figure ends is anyone’s guess. Good luck bidding!

The Muppets Character Movie Poster Set

Tomorrow marks the world premier of The Muppets, and The Blot can’t wait! It’s a travesty what Disney has allowed to happen to this once proud franchise, and I really hope this film puts Kermit and Co. back on top where they belong. It’s insane to me that there hasn’t been a live action Muppets movie in 12 years. What was the House of Mouse thinking!?! Thankfully, from the reviews I’ve read it sounds like Jason Segel, James Bobina, Nicholas Stoller and Bret McKenzie knew what they were doing.

There’s not too much to these The Muppets one sheet character movie posters, but I love them! They each feature two important characters, include a strong catch phrase and have great coloring. And so, without further adieu: It's time to play the music, It's time to light the lights, It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight. It's time to put on makeup, It's time to dress up right, It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight.

And now let's get things started. Why don't you get things started? It's time to get things started. On the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, Muppetational. This is what we call the Muppet Show! The Muppets premieres tomorrow, Wednesday, November 23rd, in theaters everywhere.

The Muppets Twilight Themed Character Movie Posters

I’m not sure why, but the main thrust of The Muppets marketing campaign has been spoofing other movie franchises. Don’t get me wrong, it’s all been very entertaining. I just don’t know why they continued to do it the whole time. That being said, these Twilight spoofing one sheet character movie posters are pretty funny, especially Rowlf as a Jacob.

The Muppets Twilight Themed Character Movie Poster Set “The Muppet Saga” includes Kermit the Frog as Vamphibian (a.k.a. Edward), Miss Piggy as Bella Swine (a.k.a. Bella Swan) and Rolf as WereRowlf (a.k.a. Jacob). I have to say, I’m not sure what I’m more excited for: the return of the Muppets to the big screen or the Twilight Saga finally ending! Actually, I do know…but the world premier of The Muppets tomorrow comes in at a close second!

The Muppets take theaters everywhere starting tomorrow, Wednesday, November 23rd.
