Pumpkin Gread & Pumpkin Funguhs Resin Figures by Lysol

Pumpkin Gread & Pumpkin Funguhs Resin Figures by Lysol

Thanksgiving is almost upon us, which leads us into the busiest shopping weekend of the year! The Blot’s a sucker for Good Friday (my own personal nickname for Black Friday) deals, but this Saturday’s also great for picking up new releases from some of my favorite artists. Take Lysol of Dead Hand Toys for instance. Late last night he dropped word on his Twitter feed that he’d be releasing not one, but two Thanksgiving themed resin figures on Saturday. The Pumpkin Gread and Pumpkin Funguhs go on sale at the Dead Hand Toys online store Saturday, November 23rd, at 12pm EST. While prices and run size are currently unknown, you can rest assured these little monsters are sure to sell out quickly!

The Muppets Retro Concert Poster Screen Prints by Michael De Pippo

The Muppets Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem Retro Concert Poster Screen Print Series by Michael De Pippo - “Dr. Teeth: Keyboard”

A few months ago artist Michael De Pippo designed some killer retro concert posters for the greatest Muppet band of all time, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem! For his tribute to the new Muppets movie, De Pippo wanted to keep things simple, “create a vintage concert poster for each band member (Dr. Teeth, Janice, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Zoot and Animal). Using clean, crisp vectors, negative space and few colours, I wanted to keep them as simple and stylized as possible; reminiscent of retro posters from back in the day.”

There was such a huge outcry of love for Michael’s artwork that he’s now teamed up with Acme Archives to release a series of officially licensed The Muppets Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem Retro Concert Poster Screen Prints! Five prints have been created for this series, each spotlighting a different member of the band (“Dr. Teeth: Keyboard”, “Animal: Drums”, “Floyd: Bass”, “Janice: Guitar” and “Zoot: Sax”).

Each The Muppets Retro Concert Poster 18”x24” screen print has a limited edition run size of 250 pieces, comes signed by De Pippo and retails for $60 each at the Acme Archives online store. Each week a different Electric Mayhem screen print will go on sale, with the first print, “Dr. Teeth: Keyboard”, available now! The only thing The Blot can't decide is which one to get!

The Muppets Portrait Movie Poster Set

The Muppets Portrait Movie Poster Set - Miss Piggy, Animal, Kermit the Frog, Gonzo & Beaker

I can’t believe this day is finally here, the world premier of The Muppets! The Blot probably won’t be seeing it until the weekend, but I’m really excited to hear what everyone else thinks. So far on Rotten Tomatoes, with 58 reviews the film has a perfect 100% Fresh score. Can’t beat that! In the mean time check out this nice set of The Muppets Portrait One Sheet Movie Posters.

The Muppets Portrait Movie Poster Set - Kermit the Frog

This Muppets Portrait movie poster set includes Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal, Gonzo and Beaker. There’s also reportedly a second set of four The Muppets portrait movie posters featuring Jason Segel as Gary, Amy Adams as Mary, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo and the newest Muppet, Walter. Sadly, I couldn’t find a good copy of them to post, so you’ll just have to look at these four.
