High & Dry Custom Coarse Jaws Vinyl Figure by Task One

Check out this amazing custom Coarse Jaws by Task One! Task constantly amazes me with his work, and this “High & Dry” custom Coarse Jaws vinyl figure is a classic example why. He always does a great job of turning a figure on its head (this time literally) and taking things to the next level.

Named after a Radiohead song, the title seemed kinda fitting considering what the custom depicts. Just read the definition of “High and Dry” if you don’t believe me: 1. Lit. [for water] to recede and leave someone untouched. The waters receded and left us high and dry. 2. Fig. to leave someone unsupported and unable to maneuver; to leave someone helpless.

This particular custom figure was a commission for a Kidrobot boardie, so don’t go looking to pick this one up from Task’s online store. But don’t worry, he’ll have more custom figures coming soon!

Occupy Cybertron Bootleg Transformers Resin Figure by Sucklord

All you really need to know about this release is it’s a Transformers bootleg by Sucklord. That right there should make it an instant buy for pretty much everyone!!! It also doubles as a little piece of social commentary on the Occupy Wall street movement. But let’s not get into that one. The leader of the One Percent Army and his crew of 1% Decepticons are ready to not pay fair taxes and cause a little trouble.

On Wednesday, December 7th, the Sucklord, acting as the leader of the Decepticons, will defend his vast fortunes against a solidarity protest of Autobots, a.k.a. the 99%, who will attempt to “occupy” the End of Century retail space and gallery in New York City’s Lower East Side. The bootleg figure seen here is the first release in Sucklord’s new Occupy Cybertron Collection, but that’s not all! At the event tomorrow Sucklord will also be releasing his first ever 8” Mego style figure, a mini 3” “Protester” figure and so much more.

Hell Hound Resin Figures by Argonaut Resins & Robbie Busch

Argonaut Resins has teamed up with artist Robbie Busch again, this time for a very special Holiday release! Busch visited END’s secret lair recently and painted up a series of pretty sick looking 8 inch resin Pharaoh Hounds. These “Hell Hounds” will be a wave of 5 figures, and includes 3 Red Hots, 1 blue chase Hell Freeze Over and the uber chase, a clear tint Red Hot. Each Hell Hound will also come packaged in a box featuring an original acrylic painting by Busch. Pretty cool huh?
