First Look: The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Minimates

The last big reveal from Toy Fair 2012 that I wanted to make sure I covered here on The Blot Says… was this awesome series of The Amazing Spider-Man Minimates from Diamond Select Toys. There is no doubt in my mind that The Amazing Spider-Man is going to be a huge blockbuster this summer, and you know both kids and adults are going to go crazy for all the merchandise released to tie-in with the film.

The Amazing Spider-Man Movie Minimates Series will consist of five 2 packs: Battle Damage Spider-Man & The Lizard, Spider-Man & Peter Parker (with Skateboard), a Mystery Criminal & Dr. Curt Connors, Uncle Ben & a Police Officer (with Aunt May as the chase variant), and Captain George Stacy & Gwen Stacy. Between this release and The Avengers Movie Minimates Series, Marvel is releasing some seriously awesome 2” toys this summer.

The Walking Dead x Vannen “Walkers!” Watch by Charlie Adlard

Last Friday Vannen released its highly anticipated watch collaboration with The Walking Dead. Entitled “Walkers!”, this bloody timepiece of course sold out instantly. Vannen had been keeping this watch, designed by The Walking Dead artist Charlie Adlard, under tight wraps. But now that it’s been released The Blot can finally share with you what it looks like! Pretty awesome don’t you think? If you missed out on this killer watch don’t fret, rumor has it Vannen is already considering releasing a second colorway of its The Walking Dead watch sometime soon.

The Walking Dead x Vannen “Walkers!” watch has a limited edition run size of 250 pieces, retailed for $85 each, and sold out upon its release on February 24th.
