Game of Thrones Season 2 Character Posters

We’re two episodes in to Game of Thrones Season 2 and it has been truly riveting TV! The only negative thing I can say about the first two episodes of GoT is that they account for a fifth of the season. Ten episodes is just not enough for a television show with twenty main characters. I never seem to get enough quality time with all of my favorites. The Blot’s been wanting to blog about Game of Thrones for a while now, but since I don’t want to spoil anything I’ll just stick with these new Season 2 character television posters.

These GoT Season 2 posters are pretty standard…each features a different main character with a quote that pretty much sums up their character’s mission in Season 2. There’s the Lannisters (Tyrion, Jamie and Cersei), the Starks (Robb and Jon Snow), and everyone’s favorite Dragon whisperer, Daenerys Targaryen. Which one’s your favorite? I can’t decide!

Game of Thrones Season 2 airs Sunday nights on HBO at 9/8c.

The Crow Screen Print by James O’Barr

Tim Doyle and Nakatomi, Inc. have teamed up with James O’Barr, a true comic book legend, for its newest release and The Blot is super pumped! If you read comics in the ‘90s then you’re definitely familiar with The Crow (Eric Draven), O’Barr’s signature character, who was resurrected by a supernatural crow to avenge his and his fiancée’s murders. The Crow indie comic book proved so popular that it spurred multiple movies, novels and even a television series. Tim’s been hinting at this release for a while, but the actual image of the print has been under tight wraps…until now!

The Nakatomi crew first met James at a Texas based comic convention. O’Barr was struck by the screen printing process and how rich the colors and textures could be. After a few more conversations the deal was sealed, and Nakatomi was finding itself planning a print with one of the most influential artistic voices to come out of indie-comics. This is a Texas collaboration at its finest!

The Crow by James O’Barr is an 18”x24” screen print that comes signed and numbered by the artist! Only 150 of these prints have been created, and they go on sale at the Nakatomi online store today, Tuesday, April 10th, at 2pm CST.

“Just Doin’ It” Art Show by kaNO & Tracy Tubera at Dragatomi

The Blot is super excited about this weekend’s “Just Doin’ It”, a Nike themed art show by kaNO and Tracy Tubera at Dragatomi! This show will feature all new works by both artists, with each painting incorporating iconic Nike sneaker traits and elements. If you’re a sneaker fiend then this is the show for you! Both kaNO and Tracy will be in attendance for the opening on Saturday night, so bust out your fliest pair Jordans and head down to Dragatomi Saturday night because this show will be ill!
