Gay Empire, Suckadelic Overmaster Supreme 3” Black Dunny by Sucklord

Kidrobot’s got a top secret release dropping tomorrow for all of us unable to make it to San Diego for Comic-Con this year. What could it be you ask? Why the second colorway of The Sucklord’s immensely popular Gay Empire, Suckadelic Overmaster Supreme 3” Dunny. This Kidrobot Message Board Exclusive is a black version of the Dunny Series 2012 Case Incentive figure collectors were going crazy for just a few weeks ago.

Nicknamed the “Leather Daddy Exclusive,” this black Gay Empire, Suckadelic Overmaster Supreme 3” Dunny will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, July 12th, at 12 noon PST. But to find out where, you’ve gotta log into the Kidrobot message board to find the secret link. This figure should retail for around $15 and can be purchased at the Kidrobot online store once you’ve found the secret link (hint, hint).

SDCC 12 Exclusive The Dark Knight Rises Screen Print by Jock

For the longest time I’ve wanted to see a super hero screen print designed by an actual comic book artist, and that time is finally here! Mondo just announced it would be releasing a San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive The Dark Knight Rises screen print by Jock tomorrow at their SDCC booth $437. I’d love to get my hands on one, but I’m pretty sure there are already print and comic book fans lining up for this one. This is a 24”x36” print with a limited edition run size of 375 pieces, and will go on sale for $45 tomorrow, July 12th, at a random time.

The Dark Knight Rises Variant Screen Print by Jock is more of a movie poster style image featuring all of the villains from the Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Sadly this variant (which has a limited edition run size of 350 pieces) will not be going on sale. Instead, Warner Bros will be handing it 250 of these prints to fans attending The Dark Knight Rises Home Town Screening at SDCC. I hope this means Jock will eventually be releasing the remaining 50 as APs sometime down the road.

SDCC 12 First Look: Golden Version Homer Buddha Vinyl Figure

Here’s your first official look at the Kidrobot x The Simpsons San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Golden Version Homer Buddha vinyl figure via Kidrobot’s Instagram account. While you got a general idea of what this figure would like through KR’s teaser image, it actually turned out better than I anticipated! I especially love that Buddha Homer is sitting on a donut. So, now that we’ve seen what the figure looks like, will you be buying one?

Coming Soon: Super7 x Transformers!?!

Has Super7 acquired a license to make Transformers vinyl figures from Hasbro? It appears so! According to this Instagram photo from our friends at Vinyl Pulse, Super7 has a number of cardboard standups at their San Diego Comic-Con 2012 booth advertising a new Transformer line, which would include vinyl figures, t-shirts, drinking glasses, art prints and even an Optimus Prime Super Shogun figure! Is that exciting news or what!?! The Blot is dying to find out what kind of Transformer sofubi vinyl figures Super7 may already have in the works!

Hopefully more news about this exciting collaboration will be leaking out from SDCC throughout the week!

SDCC 12 Exclusive Unpainted Black Cannibal Fuckface Vinyl Figure

Monster Worship is unleashing Johnny Ryan’s Cannibal Fuckface on the masses of San Diego Comic-Con once again this year, this time in beautiful unpainted black soft Japanese vinyl! The SDCC 2012 Exclusive Unpainted Black Cannibal Fuckface stands 7.5” tall, features 4 points of articulation, and can be purchased at Dragatomi’s SDCC booth #4935 for $75 on Friday, July 13th, from 11am-1pm. Any leftover figures will be made available online at the Monster Worship online store next Tuesday, July 17th, at 6pm EST.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Kamikaze Edition The Forest Warlord by Bigfoot One

One of The Blot’s favorite new figures of 2012 is Bigfoot One’s The Forest Warlord. This new take on a classic designer art toy, The Forest Warlord is 11” of pure awesome! I love the rocker motif Bigfoot One has given his trademark character, and all of the intricate details on this behemoth of a figure. There were 7 colorways of The Forest Warlord created for a grand total of 1,000 pieces. For this San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive colorway, The Forest Warlord features a grey, black, white and red color scheme.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Green Lantern DC Collectibles 2 Pack - Kyle Rayner & Kilowog Action Figures

Earlier this week DC Collectibles announced they would be launching a new line of convention only 3.75” DC Comics Super Heroes action figure toy line, which kicks off at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 with this Green Lanterns Kyle Rayner and Kilowog action figure 2-pack. This is really exciting news, because after years of Mattel’s ineptitude The Blot had all but given up hope that we’d ever see a well made, successful line of 3.75” DC Comics action figures. I’ve always loved the former DC Direct’s action figures, and it’s nice to see they’ll still be making them (albeit a little smaller than normal).

The San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Green Lantern action figure 2 pack includes super poseable and very detailed versions of DC Comics super heroes Kyle Rayner and Kilowog. This killer looking 2 pack has a limited edition run size of 2,500 sets, and can be purchased for just $25 at Graphitti Designs’ SDCC booth #2315.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Batman Print “The Stormy Knight” by Alex Pardee

The Blot always loves Alex Pardee’s super hero artwork, and he knocked this one out of the park! In honor of The Dark Knight Rises world premiere next week, Alex is releasing this all new Batman print “The Stormy Knight” at San Diego Comic-Con 2012. This 22”x17” print features a made-up retro version of Batman from the future, has a limited edition run size of 60 pieces and comes signed and numbered by Pardee. Pick one up at Zero Friends’ SDCC booth #5502 for $60 each.

Leecifer’s SDCC 12 Exclusive Customs

If you’ve been wondering where Leecifer has been, the California artist has been slaving away preparing more customs than you can shake a stick at for San Diego Comic-Con 2012. I especially love Lee’s set of DC Comics themed Camille Rose Garcia custom vinyl figures, which includes Catwoman, Harlequin, Batman and Robin, and Poison Ivy.

SDCC 12 Exclusive HorrOrange Ice Scream Man by Brutherford

Brutherford is bringing his popular Ice Scream Man to San Diego Comic-Con for the very first time in a beautiful orange colorway entitled “HorrOrange”! Two sizes of this SDCC exclusive were created: a 7.5” Standard Edition HorrOrange Ice Scream Man ($75) and a mini 3” version ($20). Both have a limited edition run size of 30 pieces and can be purchased exclusively at the Dragatomi SDCC booth #4935. Any remaining pieces will go up for sale at Dragatomi’s online store next Monday, July 16th, at noon PST.

The Sucklord Invades San Diego Comic-Con 2012

The Sucklord is traveling cross-country to reign supreme over San Diego Comic-Con, and with four different exclusives dropping this week at the show it might need to be renamed SDSC (San Diego Sucklord-Con). First up is “The Toy Whose Name We Cannot Speak,” which is a Gay Empire mash-up of a Star Wars Stormtrooper figure and a Masters of the Universe Fisto. This 5” tall bootleg figure will not come packaged, has a limited edition run size of 9 pieces and will retail for $150.

Next up is this fun Peanuts bootleg figure entitled “Licorice Leslie,” which is a Gay Empire Peppermint Patty 3” resin figure. She comes packaged on a blister card, has a limited edition run size of 70 pieces, and will retail for $45.  Now what I want to know is when are we getting a bootleg figure of her life partner Marcie!?!

My favorite San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Sucklord Exclusive is this Gay Energon: Roddiums Pride bootleg transformers figure. This 3.75” inaction figure comes packaged on a blister card, has a limited edition run size of 40 pieces and will retail for $125.

The Sucklord’s last SDCC exclusive is the Gay Enterprise 2 pack, which includes 3.75” inaction figures of Captain Kirk and Spock. These two figures come packaged jointly on a blister card, have a limited edition run size of 30 pieces and will retail for $150 per set.

All four of these San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Sucklord bootleg resin figures will be sold exclusively at DKE Toys’ SDCC booth #4728 on Thursday, July 12th, at 11am when The Sucklord will be on hand for a signing.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Disney Pop! Vinyl Figures by Funko

It’s rare that Funko announces its San Diego Comic-Con exclusives ahead of time, so The Blot was really excited when these photos of its SDCC 2012 Disney Pop! vinyl figure exclusives hit the internet. My favorite of the bunch is definitely this flocked Winnie the Pooh vinyl figure, although 9” Sulley with 3.75” Metallic Boo 2 pack is also nice! Other of Funko’s San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Disney Pop! vinyl figures include a blue Cheshire Cat, a metallic Alien, a glow in the dark Oogie Boogie, a Fantasia 2 Pack that includes metallic Sorcery Mickey and Chernobog vinyl figures, and a Muppets 3 Pack that includes 2 metallic Snowths and a metallic Mahna Mahna.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Breaking Bad Screen Print - Episode 5.01 by Jermaine Rogers

The San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive “Episode 5.01” screen print by Jermaine Rogers is a surprise seventeenth print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. Think of this as just a little teaser of what’s to come in Breaking Bad’s first episode back from hiatus when Season 5 premieres this Sunday, July 15th, at 10/9c. Jermaine Rogers is one of The Blot’s favorite artists, so you know it pains me this one’s dropping exclusively at SDCC. But hopefully it at least finds its way into some diehard collectors’ hands!

Jermaine Rogers’ limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Episode 5.01” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print will retail for $50 each and can be purchased starting Saturday, July 14th, at Gallery1988’s SDCC booth #405.

To celebrate and honor the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad, 16 of the top artists and graphic designers have been commissioned to create screenprints depicting some of the series' most memorable scenes, characters and shocking moments for Gallery1988 and its Breaking Bad ARG, Breaking Gifs. These screenprints are hand-pulled, each its own individual work of art, in an edition of just 300, with only 200 available to the public through this project. Once the edition is sold out, they will never be printed again.

Super7’s San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusives

Every year The Blot is blown away by both the quality and the volume of San Diego Comic-Con exclusives Super7 releases. Thankfully this year is no different, with 14 different releases including two all new figures! SDCC 2012 marks the first release of both Brian Flynn’s Pocket Baseball Boy and Joshua Herbolsheimer’s Fossilla. SDCC 12 Exclusive Game of Thrones Screen Print Series by Daniel Danger, Martin Ansin & Vania Zouravliov

For the second year in a row Austin’s Mondo will be at San Diego Comic-Con, and this year they’ll be dropping a whopping 15 SDCC exclusive prints!!! To kick these off is this beautiful series of screen prints based on HBO’s hit television show Game of Thrones by Martin Ansin, Daniel Danger and Vania Zouravliov. All three of these images is stunning in their own way, and features some of the characters and settings that have become synonymous with this mesmerizing show.

Game of Thrones by Martin Ansin is a 24”x36” screen print with a limited edition run size of 430 pieces, Game of Thrones “Pilot” by Daniel Danger is a 17”x32” screen print with a limited edition run size of 380 pieces, and Game of Thrones by Vania Zouravliov is a 24”x22” screen print with a limited edition run size of 330 pieces.
